The rewards have been impressive, with the Saints being exciting to watch and emerging as title contenders after finishing fifth last season.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duffy\u2019s team were top of the Genero Adran Premier table at Christmas but have suffered a recent dip in form. Just one point from their last three matches leaves them in third place and seven adrift of current leaders Cardiff City.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Road to the final<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After easing past second tier sides Llanfair United in the round of 16 and Cascade in the quarter-finals with 4-0 and 5-0 wins respectively, Swansea City travelled to Wrexham in the last four. Jamie Sherwood\u2019s side were 3-2 winners at The Rock, holding on to book their spot in the final after the hosts scored in stoppage time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TNS were the biggest winners in the round of 16 as they triumphed 6-1 away at Caldicot Town, before they stunned holders Cardiff City by beating the Bluebirds 1-0 in the quarter-finals at Park Hall. This is their second consecutive final after they led 1-0 at half-time against Cardiff City in last season\u2019s showpiece before going on to lose 5-1.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After losing in the semi-finals in each of the previous three seasons, The New Saints have finally reached the Genero Adran Trophy final for the first time. Now on their agenda is a first trophy of any kind since joining the Welsh system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Head-to-head<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before this season, Swansea City and TNS had met on nine previous occasions and the Swans had won eight of them \u2013 including a 5-1 triumph in the Genero Adran Trophy semi-final last season.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Saints have turned the tide so far in 2024\/25. The 32-year-old continues to be a reliable goalscorer for her side, bagging a hat-trick in the quarter-final win over Cascade before also finding the net against Wrexham in the semis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Chantelle Teare \u2013 The New Saints<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swansea should know all about the danger of Teare after she scored a hat-trick against them in TNS\u2019 5-0 win at Llandarcy in October. That was one of multiple standout performances this season for the 23-year-old, who also scored the dramatic 92<sup>nd<\/sup>-minute winner against Briton Ferry to book her side\u2019s spot in this final.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Managers\u2019 thoughts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamie Sherwood, Swansea City: \u201cIt\u2019s our job to go out and give everything in this cup final to make sure we come away with silverware.
