Anna Marsh, making her first league start of 2025, added a fourth goal in the 18th minute when she produced a powerful near post finish from Jones’ through ball.

Wild-McGregor had the chance to complete a first half hat-trick soon after when the Nomads were awarded a penalty, but saw her spot-kick saved by Lauren Jones. It was not long until the hosts did make it 5-0 though as Poppy Kendrick-Jones scored her first goal for the club with a cur ling strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the area in the 28th minute.

The 18-year-old notched her second of the afternoon with another sweetly-struck effort into the far corner eight minutes into the second half, before substitute Sophie Hodson completed the scoring from a tight angle shortly after the hour mark.

The Nomads are now just two wins away from the Genero Adran North title, with games against Bangor (Tuesday) and NFA (Sunday) to come over the next week.

Second-place Llanfair United continue to put the pressure on though and they earned a 3-2 home win over reigning champions Llandudno on Sunday.

The Seasiders led in the 38th minute as Mia Roberts headed home from Erin Doran’s corner, but Llanfair equalised a minute later as Sophie Cook scored for the third game in a row.

The second half was goalless for over half an hour, but Llanfair scored twice in two minutes – through Becky Jones and Harriet Davies – to lead late on. Teenage substitute Amelia Mercer scored her first senior goal for Llandudno late on, but Llanfair held on for their first ever victory over the Seasiders.

A third straight defeat for Llandudno saw them drop to fourth in the table, as they were leapfrogged by Felinheli who won 7-2 at home against Bangor.

In a remarkable first half display, Felinheli led 5-0 after just 20 minutes played as two goals from Fflur Williams bookended finishes from Ellie Jones, Jenna Tugwell-Allsup and Alaw Huws.

It could have got even better for the hosts but Hana Wellings had a penalty saved by Catrin Roberts on the half hour mark, while Bangor pulled a goal back just before half- time through Menna Evans.

The second half was a less frantic affair, but Williams completed her hat-trick in the 79th minute from the penalty spot before Cerys Parry netted late on for Bangor just six minutes after coming off the bench. The final word went to another substitute, Rubie Davies, who added Felinheli’s seventh in the 10th minute of stoppage time – after being on the pitch for barely a minute.

Flint Town United had to come from behind as they won 3-1 away at bottom-of-the table NFA.

The hosts earned a rare lead through Claire Smedley after just five minutes, as the full-back tucked away the rebound from Molly Brown’s saved effort with just five minutes on the clock.

Flint levelled the contest nine minutes before half-time when former NFA player Kaelyn Williams guided the ball home from Daisy Hughes’ low cross.

The visitors then won the game in the second half thanks to two penalties in the space of nine minutes from Zoe Stopford, as Oli Williams’ side rose to fifth in the table.

Genero Adran North results

Connah’s Quay Nomads 7-0 Rhyl 1879
Felinheli 7-2 Bangor
Llanfair United 3-2 Llandudno
NFA 1-3 Flint Town United

Connah’s Quay Nomads made it 10 wins from 10 games in the Genero Adran North this season by triumphing 7-0 at home over Rhyl 1879 on Sunday.

[155
post-10347","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-adran-north
["GET
