Wrexham continued their superb recent run of form with a 2-1 win away at Genero Adran Premier leaders Cardiff City on Sunday. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bluebirds had won the previous eight meetings between the two sides and took the lead in the 31st<\/sup> minute as Lily Billingham fired in from distance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrexham responded well though and were level eight minutes later when Abbie Iddenden played through Ava Suckley who finished clinically past Ceryn Chamberlain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iddenden found the scoresheet herself to complete the turnaround 11 minutes into the second half, slotting home at the second time of asking after her initial shot hit the post. That proved to be the winner in the capital as Steve Dale\u2019s side made it five league victories in a row and moved up to third in the table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second-place Briton Ferry Llansawel closed the gap on Cardiff City to five points following a 2-1 comeback win away at The New Saints. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hosts took the lead in the 15th<\/sup> minute as Lexi Jones glanced home Molly Havard\u2019s corner and they took that advantage into the break. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TNS goalkeeper Megan Bowen brought down Maia Owen in the box early in the second half, but the young shot stopper made amends by saving Alison Witts\u2019 penalty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferry eventually found an equaliser in the 67th<\/sup> minute when captain Lowri Ridings headed home from Jess Denscombe\u2019s corner. Laura-May Walkley completed the turnaround with five minutes left on the clock as she was played in by Megan Kearle and let fly from outside of the box, with her effort beating Bowen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aberystwyth Town took another big step towards survival as they came from behind to win 3-1 away at Barry Town United. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Linnets took the lead in the 12th<\/sup> minute thanks to a superb free-kick from Jas Turner, but Aber responded two minutes later as Lleucu Mathias was fouled in the box by Holly Jenkins and Libby Isaac stepped up to score the resulting penalty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seasiders went in front nine minutes before half-time when Carys Bufton \u2013 who joined Aber from Barry in January \u2013 dinked the ball over Molly Arnesen, while victory was sealed in the 90th<\/sup> minute by substitute Lily Moralee-Hughes who collected a loose ball and finish coolly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Church\u2019s side are now nine points clear of danger, with bottom-of-the-table Cardiff Met staring relegation in the face after a 2-1 home defeat against Swansea City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game was goalless for over an hour, but the deadlock was finally broken in the 71st<\/sup> minute when Met defender Ceyln Garton turned Taite Trivett\u2019s cross into her own net. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

India Shanahan found an equaliser for the Archers when she volleyed home with just six minutes left on the clock, but Swansea dug deep to grab a winner four minutes later as substitute Steph Turner steered in Trivett\u2019s delivery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A much-needed first win in seven matches for the Swans, but Met now have just four games left bridge a nine-point gap to safety. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
