Genero Adran Premier<\/a> leaders Cardiff City staged a remarkable late comeback to triumph 3-2 away at The New Saints on Sunday.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hosts made the perfect start to the contest as Chantelle Teare headed home from Maria Francis-Jones\u2019 cross inside just two minutes, while Francis-Jones was again the provider in the 65th<\/sup> minute as Kay Baker\u2019s header doubled the advantage <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Staring at back-to-back league defeats for the first time in the three years, Cardiff pulled a goal back in the 88th<\/sup>minute as Nieve Jenkins glanced a header in from Ffion Price\u2019s corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shannon Evans was sent up front as the Bluebirds desperately searched for an equaliser and she delivered in the first minute of stoppage time with a clinical finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visitors were not done there and grabbed a dramatic winner two minutes later when Price\u2019s delivery into the box was controlled by Megan Bowen and fired home by the defender past her namesake in goal, sparking wild scenes of celebration among the away faithful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victory puts Iain Darbyshire\u2019s side on the cusp of a third consecutive league title, which they will secure if they beat TNS again in the capital next weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Briton Ferry Llansawel and Wrexham had to settle for a point each in a 2-2 draw at the Renewable Centre Stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A foul on Maia Owen inside the area allowed Megan Kearle to slot Ferry in front from the penalty spot in the 13th<\/sup> minute, but Wrexham turned the game on its head with two goals in two minutes shortly before half-time. Abbie Iddenden bundled home an equaliser before Ava Suckley produced a composed finish past Courtney Young for her fifth league goal in four games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kearle would bring Ferry back level on 54 minutes as she tucked away the rebound from Jade Crofts\u2019 saved effort and that was how it stayed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second-place Ferry remain four points ahead of Wrexham in third, with the two sides set to meet again at the ST\u014dK Cae Ras next weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiff Met edged closer to relegation after suffering a 2-0 defeat away to Plate Conference leaders Swansea City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As was the case when the two sides met a fortnight ago, the game was goalless for over an hour \u2013 with Swans defender Nia Jones having a superb volley ruled out for Taite Trivett blocking the vision of Met goalkeeper Carys Gittins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hosts eventually took the lead in the 74th<\/sup> minute when Aimee Deacon was fouled in the box and Stacey John-Davis stepped up to convert the resulting penalty. Victory was sealed in style in the first minute of stoppage time, as substitute Chloe Chivers picked out the top corner with a stunning free kick from distance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That result would have relegated Met if Aberystwyth had got something out of their home game against Barry Town United, but the Linnets triumphed 2-0 at Park Avenue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jasmine Turner missed the chance to put Barry ahead shortly before half-time as she missed from the penalty spot, but teenager Sienna Stone broke the deadlock in the 53rd<\/sup> minute with her first senior goal for the Linnets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lucy Attwood doubled the lead six minutes later and a clean sheet for Barry ensured they avenged their defeat to Aber a fortnight ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
