A lot of players have shown interest in playing for us, and we’ve welcomed them from a variety of different leagues. When we’ve spoken as a squad about the league, we think there are obvious front runners but at the same time, we think any team could win it. It makes it exciting but also nerve-wracking. It’s hard coming up and staying up, but we know how high the standard will be.

“Over the last few years, we’ve seen the likes of Llanelli, Cwmbran Celtic, Penybont thrive in that sort of mid to top table places. It doesn’t make us think anything is possible, but it makes us believe that we are more than capable of challenging for a good position in the league. As long as you put the work in, that’s where you will start to see a difference.”

No matter where the club will finish this season, Brown knows what Genero Adran South football could do this season. Survival will be one thing, but the team see this as an incredible opportunity to grow the club to a whole new level.

“First and foremost, realistically, staying up is our goal. A mid to top table finish would be fantastic. With the quality of the teams around us we know it’ll be a real challenge, but one we as a squad want to try and aim for.

“We also want to finish the league in a better position than when we started, whether that be through our performances, a bigger squad base, but also inspiring our pathways to show our younger players that they can be at this level.
