Manager Rhys Thomas has made the move to Ferry this summer, taking top scorer Casey Daniels with him, with Leon Williams appointed as his replacement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cascade stormed to a 6-0 victory over Penybont in the 2023\/24 Bute Energy Welsh Cup, but Bont did the double over their opponents in the league last season with 2-0 and 3-1 wins.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Group 1\u2019s other fixture, newly-promoted Taffs Well make their competition debut at home against Cwmbran Celtic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wellwomen gained promotion from the SWWGL this summer after losing just one league game all season.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Celtic reached the Genero Adran Trophy knockout stage for the first time last season, before a 4-1 defeat to Wrexham, but it was a disappointing league campaign as they ultimately finished fifth in the Genero Adran South after showing early title credentials.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2024-11-10_Cwmbran-Celtic-v-Wrexham_83-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11629\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2024-11-10_Cwmbran-Celtic-v-Wrexham_83-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2024-11-10_Cwmbran-Celtic-v-Wrexham_83-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2024-11-10_Cwmbran-Celtic-v-Wrexham_83-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2024-11-10_Cwmbran-Celtic-v-Wrexham_83.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Cwmbran Celtic came up against Wrexham in last season&#8217;s Genero Adran Trophy<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Group 2<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Cardiff Met have won the Genero Adran Trophy on a record five previous occasions, but this season enter the competition in the group stage for the first time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Archers, who were relegated from the Genero Adran Premier last term after winning just one league game all year, are at home against Llanelli Town.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Reds, who finished sixth in the Genero Adran South last season with just one win to their name, are yet to record a victory in the Genero Adran Trophy \u2013 finishing bottom of their group in the previous two campaigns.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other encounter in Group 2 sees two sides begin new eras as Pure Swansea host Carmarthen Town.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pure Swansea, previously known as Swansea University, finished runners-up in the Genero Adran South last season but failed to make it out of their group in the Genero Adran Trophy after reaching the quarter-finals in 2023\/24. The Old Gold have not lost an away fixture since October 2023.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carwyn Phillips\u2019 side stunned Pure Swansea in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup last season by storming to a 5-1 victory on the road.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Group 3<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Reigning Genero Adran North champions Connah\u2019s Quay Nomads begin their group stage away at newly-promoted Berriew.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nomads stormed to the league title last season, winning all 14 matches, but agonisingly missed out on promotion by losing 3-2 to Pontypridd United in the play-off despite being two goals up.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In last season\u2019s Genero Adran Trophy, Jordan Parry\u2019s side scored an impressive 14 goals across three group stage wins before pushing Genero Adran Premier champions Cardiff City all the way in a narrow 2-1 defeat in the Round of 16.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2024-11-10_ConnahsQuayNomadsWomen_vs_CardiffCityWomen_NCM_73-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11633\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2024-11-10_ConnahsQuayNomadsWomen_vs_CardiffCityWomen_NCM_73-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2024-11-10_ConnahsQuayNomadsWomen_vs_CardiffCityWomen_NCM_73-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2024-11-10_ConnahsQuayNomadsWomen_vs_CardiffCityWomen_NCM_73-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2024-11-10_ConnahsQuayNomadsWomen_vs_CardiffCityWomen_NCM_73-1.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Connah&#8217;s Quay Nomads pushed Cardiff City all the way in last season&#8217;s Genero Adran Trophy<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Berriew make their debut in this competition after being promoted to the Genero Adran North as NWWFL champions last season, winning 11 out of their 12 league matches along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other match in Group 3 sees Felinheli host Llandudno, who have reached the knockout stage in each of the past four seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last season, the Seasiders will have been disappointed to finish fourth in the Genero Adran North, while in this competition they were level with Aberystwyth Town after an hour in the Round of 16 before ultimately losing 4-2.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Felinheli finished above Llandudno in the league last season by placing third, but were unable to make it out of the Genero Adran Trophy group stage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Llandudno are unbeaten in their last six matches against Felinheli, although nothing could separate them in league meetings last season which finished 1-1 and 2-2.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-faw-card card-with-image-bg\"><div class=\"is-layout-constrained wp-block-group is-style-faw-card\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-block-button__link-card\" href=\"https:\/\/faw.cymru\/adran-leagues\/adran-trophy\/fixtures-and-results\">Group stage fixtures<\/a><div class=\"faw-cards__card__text p-4\"><h2 class=\"is-style-faw-h3 mb-4 faw-text--border\">Genero Adran Trophy<\/h2><div class=\"btn-w-auto wp-block-button \"><div class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" aria-hidden=\"true\">Group stage fixtures<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-faw-card-background_bg\" style=\"background-repeat:no-repeat;background-image:url(https:\/\/dogirq7bi39sv.cloudfront.net\/2025-02-09-Swansea-City-v-TNS-JS-191.jpg);background-position:50% 50%\"><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Group 4<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Wildcard entrant Llangefni Town kick off the group stage with a trip to Bangor, having been granted a place in Group 4 following Rhyl 1879\u2019s withdrawal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Gregg\u2019s side compete in the third tier but have already faced Genero Adran North opposition this season, losing 3-1 to Felinheli in the NWCFA Cup.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bangor finished seventh in the Genero Adran North last season while they are yet to progress past the group stage of the Genero Adran Trophy in two attempts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, a host of new arrivals have joined the club this summer \u2013 including Ffion Thomas from Llangefni who has already scored twice on her debut against Pwllheli in the NWCFA Cup last week.
