Cardiff City moved to the top of the Genero Adran Premier on goal difference following a clinical 5-0 win away at Barry Town United on Sunday. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barry started brightly at Jenner Park, but the champions soon found their stride and took the lead on 33 minutes as Mackenzie Olden played through Mikayla Cook to fire home for her second goal in two games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A handball in the box saw Cardiff awarded a penalty in the 43rd<\/sup> minute which Laura Curnock stepped up to score, while Olden made it 3-0 in first half stoppage time with a stunning strike from the edge of the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curnock bagged her second of the afternoon from close range on the hour mark after Barry failed to clear the ball, before she turned provider for Olden to complete a brace of her own late on \u2013 playing through the striker who produced a clinical finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrexham\u2019s perfect start to the season came to an end as they were beaten 4-2 by The New Saints at Park Hall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking for a response to their defeat at Aberystwyth last week, TNS made a rapid start to the contest and netted twice in the opening 16 minutes. Kelsey Richardson played through Caitlin Chapman to open the scoring, before the Gibraltar international turned provider by releasing Chantelle Teare to finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teare returned the favour in the 41st<\/sup> minute when she crossed for Chapman to bag her second from close range, before Wrexham pulled a goal back in first half stoppage time as Abbie Iddenden \u2013 introduced as a substitute not long before \u2013 clipped the ball through for Mariam Mahmood to score. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, any hopes the visitors had of staging a comeback were vanquished three minutes into the second half when Zara Gibbs marked her first TNS start by receiving Maria Francis-Jones\u2019 cross and firing in her side\u2019s fourth goal of the afternoon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jodie Bartle, Lili Jones and Katie Barker all had chances as Wrexham searched for a way back into the contest, but they could not find the net again until stoppage time when 17-year-old substitute Neve Adams marked her debut with a superb finish that flew in off the post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swansea City made it two wins from two games this season with a 2-0 victory over Aberystwyth Town at Llandarcy \u2013 ending the visitors\u2019 perfect start to the campaign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Swans took just 11 minutes to open the scoring as Chloe Chivers\u2019 corner was met by summer signing Eilish Mitchell, who headed home her first goal for the club on her first start. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That remained the difference between the two sides until the 84th<\/sup> minute, when Aimee Deacon sealed victory with her first goal since January \u2013 which also came against Aber. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Briton Ferry Llansawel earned their first points under new boss Rhys Thomas with a 4-0 win away at Pontypridd United. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a goalless first half at USW Sport Park, Ferry found the breakthrough five minutes into the second period as Lowri Ridings arrived to head home Megan Kearle\u2019s corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jade Crofts doubled the lead six minutes later when she received Ashley Griffiths\u2019 through ball and produced a superb finish past Alysha Hawkins into the top corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maia Owen added her name to the scoresheet in the 75th<\/sup> minute with a clever first-time chip over Hawkins, before substitute Casey Daniels completed the scoring late on by tucking home a loose ball in the box for her first goal for the club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
