The final round of group matches<\/a> in the Genero<\/a> Adran Trophy is here, with the battle for knockout stage spots going down to the wire.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Group 1<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Cascade may have lost their opening two matches in the Genero Adran South but they have already confirmed their place in the knockout stage of the Genero Adran Trophy following two wins from two games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wayne Lewis\u2019 side now travel to Cwmbran Celtic, who require just one point to progress themselves after a draw against Taffs Well and a win over Penybont. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the league, Celtic bounced back from an opening day defeat against Carmarthen Town with a 4-0 victory over Llanelli Town last weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Celtic triumphed 4-2 in the first league meeting between the two sides last season, but Cascade gained revenge wins in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup and the reverse league fixture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Defeat for Celtic could open the door for Taffs Well to progress if they triumph away at Penybont and enjoy a four-goal swing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Hooper\u2019s side, who have one point from their opening two group matches, will be full of confidence after claiming their first win in the Genero Adran South against Cascade last weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penybont are already eliminated from the competition after defeat to Cascade and Cwmbran Celtic, while they were beaten 5-2 at home by Cardiff Met in the Genero Adran South last weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Bont did triumph over Taffs Well on the opening day of the league campaign as goals from Erin Bater, Cerys Jones and Freya Grandin saw them come from behind to earn a 3-1 away victory.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Group 2<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pure Swansea will aim to secure their place in the knockout stage when they travel to Cardiff Met, who have already confirmed their progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Church\u2019s side have four points from their opening two group matches so need just one point at Cyncoed on Sunday, while Met have six points to their name. Both sides have achieved maximum points from their first two games in the Genero Adran South. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Pure Swansea lose, Llanelli could go through to the knockouts with victory at home against Carmarthen Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Reds have lost their opening two matches in the Genero Adran South, but kept their hopes of progressing in this competition alive when Ffion Varney\u2019s late equaliser salvaged a 1-1 draw against Pure Swansea last week <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carmarthen are already eliminated after back-to-back defeats. The Old Gold triumphed 2-1 over Cwmbran Celtic on their Genero Adran South debut before a late 2-1 loss to Pure Swansea last weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Group 3<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Connah\u2019s Quay Nomads will reach the knockout stage for a fifth consecutive season if they avoid defeat at home against Felinheli. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nomads kicked off this season\u2019s Genero Adran Trophy with a narrow 1-0 win away at Berriew, but were condemned to a first ever group stage defeat in a 1-0 loss to Llandudno a week later. Jordan Parry\u2019s side began their Genero Adran North title defence in style as they claimed a 5-2 victory away at Llanfair United last weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Felinheli have a point to their name after a draw against Berriew in their second group game, meaning they will overtake the Nomads with a win on Sunday. Aaron Jones-Evans\u2019 side will be in a confident mood after their 2-1 league victory away at Llandudno last weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nomads won both league meetings between the two sides last season but Felinheli were triumphant when they went head-to-head in the NEWFA Cup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llandudno are already through to the knockout stages ahead of their game at home against Berriew. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seasiders have beaten both Felinheli and Connah\u2019s Quay so far, but were beaten by Felinheli in the league last weekend \u2013 meaning they have picked up just one point from their first two Genero Adran North matches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berriew have one point on the board and can still progress themselves, but must win at the Go Goodwins Stadium and hope that either Felinheli beat the Nomads by a lesser margin or that other game in the group ends level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regina Hanratty\u2019s side have lost both of their opening two Genero Adran North matches against Bangor and Flint Town United. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Group 4<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There is a winner-takes-all battle at Mount Field where Llanfair United host Bangor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides are on three points and the same goal difference after their first two group matches, but Llanfair sit second courtesy of goals scored, so a draw would see Lucie Gwilt\u2019s side progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llanfair began their Genero Adran North campaign with a 3-2 victory away to Felinheli, before losing 5-2 to reigning champions Connah\u2019s Quay Nomads last weekend. Bangor opened their league season with a 5-1 victory at home against Berriew – the most goals they have ever scored in a Genero Adran North fixture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llanfair have won the last three meetings between the two sides, include 4-0 and 5-0 victories in the Genero Adran North last season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flint Town United will aim to make it maximum points in the group stage for the second season in a row when they visit wildcard entrant Llangefni Town. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stoppage time goals have seen the Silkwomen defeat Llanfair and Bangor in this competition so far this season, while they also struck late to triumph 3-2 away at Berriew in the league last weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llangefni are already eliminated from the competition after consecutive defeats in the group, but Dan Gregg\u2019s have enjoyed a bright start to their league campaign in the third tier with three consecutive wins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
