There was nothing to separate Genero Adran Premier<\/a> top two Cardiff City and Wrexham in a 1-1 draw at The Globe.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two sides sat level on points ahead of the game, with Cardiff ahead on goal difference, but it was Wrexham who took the lead on 14 minutes when Katie Barker raced onto Mariam Mahmood\u2019s through ball and sent a neat lob over Ceryn Chamberlain from outside the box.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barker\u2019s strike remained the difference for over an hour, but Cardiff were awarded a penalty in the 84th<\/sup> minute when Fiona Barry was brought down in the box by Ava Suckley and the Bluebirds striker stepped up to convert from the spot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remarkably, it was the first draw in the Genero Adran Premier this season, with both sides now on 13 points after six games \u2013 four points ahead of the chasing pack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Managerless Barry Town United produced a stunning late comeback to triumph 3-2 at Pontypridd United at USW Sport Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ponty seemed to be in firm control of the contest following Lili Angove\u2019s opener midway through the first half and Madison Lloyd\u2019s finish on 81 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Barry substitute Beca Thomas struck twice in the space of less than two minutes to level the game in the blink of an eye heading into stoppage time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner arrived from fellow substitute Millie Breen \u2013 making her first team debut at 16 years old \u2013 who netted in the 92nd<\/sup> minute to spark wild scenes of celebrations on the away bench. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later in the evening, Drew Lewis announced that he has stepped down as Pontypridd United head coach. The Dragons remain without a point from their first five matches of the campaign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carys Bufton scored a hat-trick as Aberystwyth Town came from behind to earn a thrilling 3-2 victory over Briton Ferry Llansawel at The Renewable Centre Stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferry made a lightning start to the contest as Jade Crofts met Laura-May Walkley-Witts\u2019 neat flick and slotted home her fourth goal of the season after just seven minutes, before Megan Kearle spotted Sophie Steele off her line and sent a tremendous lob over the Aber goalkeeper in the 19th<\/sup> minute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Bufton scored twice in the space of eight minutes at the end of the first half to bring Aber level as she sent a clinical finish past Courtney Young and then guided the ball home in the midst of a goalmouth scramble. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bufton completed the visitors\u2019 stunning comeback shortly before the hour mark as she found the net again from close range. Ferry came agonisingly close to rescuing a point in the closing stages as Crofts saw her effort cleared off the line, while Georgia Howells\u2019 dipping shot from distance crashed off the crossbar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swansea City climbed back into the top half with a 2-1 comeback victory away at The New Saints. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TNS took the lead on 25 minutes as Zara Gibbs headed home the rebound from Maria Francis-Jones\u2019 saved effort, but Swansea were immediately level as Chloe Chivers\u2019 free-kick crashed off the crossbar but crossed the line after rebounding off Saints goalkeeper Mackenzie Haydn-Jones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Swans completed a quickfire turnaround in the 35th<\/sup> minute as Safia Paraiso\u2019s foul on Aimee Deacon inside the box allowed Stacey John to step up and convert into the bottom corner from the penalty spot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saints striker Chantelle Teare came close to bringing her side level soon after when her low effort struck the post, while the Swans were also denied by the woodwork before half-time as Taite Trivett\u2019s cross deflected off Tiggy Webb and smashed against the post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A goalless second period ensured that Yzzy Taylor\u2019s side returned to winning ways, while TNS fell to defeat at home for the first time since March. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
