Wrexham extended their lead at the top of the Genero Adran Premier with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Aberystwyth Town at The Rock on Sunday. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrexham took just three minutes to find the opening goal as Rosie Hughes sent a brilliant first-time strike into the far corner and beyond Sophie Steele\u2019s reach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Aberystwyth equalised in remarkable style 12 minutes later as Amy Jenkins twice intercepted Wrexham captain Jodie Bartle and lofted the ball over Liz Craven from distance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jenkins pounced on a loose ball and slotted home her second of the afternoon to put Aber ahead, but Wrexham were level 10 minutes later thanks to Mariam Mahmood\u2019s dipping strike on the edge of the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Red Dragons restored their lead five minutes into the second half as Hughes brought down Carra Jones\u2019 diagonal ball and made no mistake firing past Steele. Jenny Sugarman\u2019s side saw out the remainder of the contest to earn victory, which now confirms their place in the Championship Conference with three games to spare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third-place Swansea City edged closer to booking their place in the Championship Conference after Yzzy Taylor\u2019s side came from behind to triumph 5-1 against Pontypridd United at USW Sports Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pontypridd took an early lead through Madison Lloyd, but Swansea completed the turnaround at went into half-time ahead thanks to Maisie Miller\u2019s first goal of the season and Stacey John\u2019s calmly converted penalty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Swans took full control after the restart as Miller and Taite Trivett both set up each other within the space of two minutes to open up a three-goal lead. Chloe Chivers then scored for the fourth away game in a row to round off a five-star performance late on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Saints dropped key points in the race for a top half spot as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Barry Town United at Park Hall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barry took the lead after just 11 minutes as Jasmine Turner\u2019s cross was headed in by Chelsea Cochrane for her first goal for the club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, TNS levelled 10 minutes later when Grace Dunkerley\u2019s delivery was met by Lexie Harrison in the box who turned in from close range. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beca Thomas hit the crossbar for Barry in the second half, while Molly Arnesen made several impressive stops to deny the Saints as it remained level at full-time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
