Wrexham reached the Genero Adran Trophy final for the first time in their history following emphatic 6-0 semi-final win over Briton Ferry Llansawel at The Rock. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A moment of brilliance from Faye Knox earned the Red Dragons the breakthrough in the 23rd<\/sup> minute as the former Cymru U19 international beautifully curled a free-kick into the top corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knox doubled her and Wrexham\u2019s tally nine minutes into the second half as she rounded Courtney Young and slotted home, before captain Jodie Bartle added a third goal moments later by bundling the ball in after Ferry failed to deal with Hannah Snape\u2019s corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knox completed her hat-trick in the 65th<\/sup> minute as she skipped past the Ferry defence and sent another clinical effort beyond Young, while Rosie Hughes bagged a brace to complete the scoring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Hughes will miss next month\u2019s final after she was shown a straight red card late on for a dangerous challenge on Begw Gruffydd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiff took the lead after just 14 minutes in Oswestry as Madison Lloyd, who was recalled from her loan spell with Pontypridd United earlier this month, bundled the ball home from Ffion Price\u2019s corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bluebirds continued to be ruthless in attack and carved open the Saints defence for their second goal on 27 minutes as Mackenzie Olden tapped in from Fiona Barry\u2019s square ball to round off a swift attacking move. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lloyd completed her brace midway through the second half to give the visitors daylight as the 18-year-old received Olden\u2019s threaded pass and made no mistake in finding the bottom corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ceryn Chamberlain made some impressive saves to maintain her clean sheet as Iain Darbyshire\u2019s side avenged their quarter-final defeat to the Saints in last season\u2019s competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
