Cardiff Met maintained their three-point lead at the top of the Genero Adran South with a 2-0 victory over title rivals Carmarthen Town at Cyncoed Stadium. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides found it tough to create any major opportunities in an even first half, but Met took the lead in the 61st<\/sup> minute as Hannah Rayner skilfully broke past the Carmarthen defence and played in Esme Kilburn-Thompson, who fired into the net via the post to make it five goals in her last three games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jonathan Nash\u2019s side wrapped up victory 11 minutes later as Carys Gittins met Olivia Barnes\u2019 corner and sent a powerful header beyond Ffion Ashman. The Archers have now achieved a five-match winning streak in the league for the first time since October 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pure Swansea are now Cardiff Met\u2019s closest challengers to the top spot after Chris Church\u2019s side triumphed 3-0 over Taffs Well at the SU Sports Centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Annabel Stokes bagged a five-minute brace to put the hosts in command at half-time after she finished from Lowri Baker\u2019s pass and converted from the penalty spot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hannah Duffy scored her second goal of the season with eight minutes of the contest remaining to put the game to bed. The Swans remain three points behind leaders Cardiff Met, who have a game in hand. A heavy defeat for Taffs Well sees them fall to the bottom of the table on goal difference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penybont secured back-to-back wins as Cerys Jones\u2019 brace inspired a 3-1 victory over Llanelli Town at Stebonheath.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bont were gifted the lead with 29 minutes on the clock as Llanelli\u2019s Meghan Roles turned the ball into her own net. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visitors then took full control in the second half as Jones doubled the advantage just one minute after the restart before she found the net again in the 64th<\/sup> minute to make it seven goals in her last five league games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llanelli quickly pulled a goal back through substitute Nadia Phillips, but Bont held on to claim all three points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
