Wrexham were crowned Genero Adran Premier champions for the first time after an emphatic 4-1 win over Cardiff City at the ST\u014dK Cae Ras on Sunday. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiff took the lead after just six minutes played in North Wales as Mikayla Cook fired her free-kick from the edge of the area into the top corner, leaving Lizzie Craven no chance of the save. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Wrexham were gifted an equaliser in first half stoppage-time as a clearance from Cardiff goalkeeper Ceryn Chamberlain was closed down by Katie Barker, who was left with the simple task of shooting into an empty net from just a yard out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrexham took full control of the contest in the second half and completed the turnaround just three minutes after the restart as Faye Knox\u2019s deflected low ball broke into the path of Barker, who sent a neat first-time finish into the bottom corner <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jenny Sugarman\u2019s side found breathing space late in the day as Knox received Rosie Hughes\u2019 pass and sent a powerful shot beyond Chamberlain before Barker completed her hat-trick with a calmly converted penalty following Helen Evans\u2019 foul on the division\u2019s top scorer inside the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiff nearly found a late consolation as Madison Lloyd\u2019s clever flick from Cook\u2019s cross was denied by the crossbar. The Bluebirds\u2019 frustration continued in the 87th<\/sup> minute as Shannon Evans was shown a straight red card for denying Barker a goalscoring opportunity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrexham celebrated their first ever Genero Adran Premier title following full-time along with many of the 2,918 fans in attendance at the ST\u014dK Cae Ras, and the Red Dragons can now look forward to representing Wales in the UEFA Champions League in the summer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Saints secured their first win of the Championship Conference with a 1-0 victory over Swansea City at the Swansea.com Stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saints goalkeeper Orla Howard was on top form as she made key saves to deny Chloe Chivers and Stacey John, who was playing in her final home match for the Swans along with teammate Steph Turner, with the pair set to retire at the end of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lexie Harrison came agonisingly close to putting Saints ahead when her shot struck the post, but she was not to be denied at the second time of asking as he strike from Chantelle Teare\u2019s cross deflected beyond Amelia Forkings and into the net. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swansea nearly found a late equaliser, but Jess Williams\u2019 effort from Chivers\u2019 corner clipped the post. TNS saw out the closing stages to come home with all three points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aberystwyth Town achieved their highest points tally since the 2022\/23 season with a 4-1 victory over already-relegated Pontypridd United at Park Avenue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bethan Roberts gave Aberystwyth the lead after just five minutes before Amy Jenkins, Alaw Davies and Carys Bufton all added their names to the scoresheet to complete a first half blitz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicole Fenton pulled a goal back for Pontypridd seven minutes into the second half, but the damage was already done as Aber returned to winning ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barry Town United and Briton Ferry Llansawel maintained their unbeaten runs in Phase Two as both sides shared the points in a goalless draw at Jenner Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barry goalkeeper Molly Arnesen stole the show with important saves to deny three efforts from Maia Owen and a free-kick from Lucy Powell. Ferry remain a point above Barry at the top of the Plate Conference with just one game left to play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
