Now back on the pitch, that form has continued, and with 13 league goals to her name in the Genero Adran South, she has claimed the league’s golden boot and has been vital to Cardiff Met’s title-winning campaign.

Anna Houghton – Cardiff Met

Versatile attacking midfielder Anna Houghton has established herself as one of the most creative footballers in the division this season. Houghton registered nine goal contributions in the Genero Adran South and her pedigree from her experience in the top-flight has shone through to inspire Cardiff Met to becoming champions.

Ellis Lunn – Cascade

After early season fears of being pulled into a relegation battle, the resurgence of Cascade has been inspired by star striker Ellis Lunn. Achieving an unbeaten 2026 to date in all competitions, Lunn has scored 12 goals in the Genero Adran South, including back-to-back hat-tricks against Carmarthen Town and Taffs Well.

Manager of the Season

Jonathan Nash – Cardiff Met

The drop into the second tier was unprecedented for Cardiff Met, but they’ve responded in the perfect way by winning the Genero Adran South title to move one game away from promotion. Jonathan Nash has lead that progression, having joined midway through last season from Hereford, and the improvement has been clear to see for many.

Carwyn Phillips – Carmarthen Town

Carmarthen Town’s rapid rise to the Genero Adran Leagues has been led by manager Carwyn Phillips, who joined the side when they formed in 2022. After winning the South Wales Women’s and Girls’ League last season, the Old Gold achieved a second-place finish in their debut Genero Adran South campaign. A successful story for the West Wales side, and another huge step in their progression.

Georgia Shwartz – Cwmbran Celtic

Having been a regular on the pitch for Cwmbran Celtic in recent seasons, Georgia Shwartz stepped up into the women’s first team manager role in the summer, and has had a successful debut campaign as Celtic boss. They’ve beaten their points record at this level with 24 points from 14 games, and matched their best finish in third place. At just 26 years old, Shwartz has a bright future ahead in coaching.

Young Player of the Season

Carys Gittins – Cardiff Met

Cardiff Met left-back Carys Gittins has been crucial to a solid backline in the Genero Adran South, but also offering a threat going forward. The 21-year-old has played nearly every minute for Met this season, and having been involved with the squad that suffered the heartbreak of the drop, she’s been crucial in Cardiff Met’s ambition of returning to the top-flight.

Ophelia Jenkins – Carmarthen Town

The Jenkins family is one of many talented footballers. Nieve, Eloise and Flavia have all established themselves at different levels of the Welsh game. Like her sisters, Ophelia Jenkins is writing her own story. The 17-year-old attacking midfielder has ten goal contributions in 13 games, in her debut season at senior level. Formerly of Cymru U16s, Jenkins has set the Genero Adran South alight this season.

Annabel Stokes – Pure Swansea

Arriving at formerly Swansea University last season from Kent-based side Tunbridge Wells Foresters, 19-year-old forward Annabel Stokes has been crucial to the goals for Pure Swansea this season. With nine goals in the Genero Adran South this campaign, it’s been an impressive season for the youngster under Chris Church.

Cast your votes in the Genero Adran South awards HERE

Terms and Conditions – Privacy Policy

Voting is now open for the 2025/26 Genero Adran South awards.
