Fiona Barry and Caitlin Chapman both scored hat-tricks as The New Saints continued their impressive start to the Genero Adran Premier season with a 7-0 win over Aberystwyth Town at Park Avenue.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Saints scored four goals in the opening nine minutes against Barry Town United last weekend and started fast again as they established a 3-0 lead inside just 19 minutes here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barry tapped home from Chapman\u2019s low cross before returning the favour to the Gibraltan international, who fired into the roof of the net from the right hand side. Barry scored her second goal of the afternoon in almost a carbon copy of her first as she applied a simple finish at the back post, this time from Abbie Iddenden\u2019s delivery.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lexi Jones completed an emphatic first half for Saints with a clinical first-time finish from Chapman\u2019s low ball. Jones and Iddenden both had deft lobs from close range denied by the crossbar towards the end of the first half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There continued to be no let up from Saints after the restart as Hannah Snape\u2019s corner ricocheted off Lia Lewis and into the path of Chapman, who steered home from close range. Barry then completed her hat-trick on 66 minutes with a calmly converted penalty after Rebecca Mathias fouled Chantelle Teare in the box. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chapman was not far behind Barry as she completed her treble 11 minutes later by guiding her header past Amy Jenkins from Snape\u2019s corner. TNS remain top of the table on goal-difference after scoring 18 goals in their first three matches.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrexham were also in seventh heaven as the reigning Genero Adran Premier champions stormed to a 7-0 win over Barry Town United at The Rock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natasha Thomas continued her bright start to life in Wrexham colours as her close range strike into the roof of the net from Ava Suckley\u2019s knock down got the Red Dragons up and running after 17 minutes. Suckley then steered the ball home from Lydia Sallaway\u2019s corner six minutes later to put Wrexham firmly in control.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those two goals remained the difference for over 40 minutes, but Katie Barker ultimately put the game to bed moments after the hour mark passed as she joined Thomas in scoring three goals in the first three league matches by executing a clinical finish past the outrushing Molly Arnesen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrexham produced a goal frenzy with just seven minutes of normal time remaining as Lili Jones sent a cool finish into the far corner and Maria Francis-Jones fired home from close range before Evie Sadler\u2019s sweetly struck poked effort from Millie Davies\u2019 through ball to make it six.\u00a0Barker rounded off an emphatic display from the champions in stoppage time with a neat flick inside the six-yard box after meeting Francis-Jones\u2019 cross. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrexham have kept back-to-back clean sheets on home turf for the first time in the top-flight since November 2024, while it was a tough return to the dugout for Stevie McCarthy-Campbell, who was reappointed Barry manager earlier this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiff City claimed their first win of the season as Anna Houghton\u2019s brace inspired a 3-2 victory over Briton Ferry Llansawel at the CIS Stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferry found an early breakthrough in the seventh minute courtesy of Freya Peyton, who charged down Daniela Kosinska and slotted into an empty net. However, that lead lasted just three minutes as Houghton fired into the bottom corner from distance to level the scoreline.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shannon Evans saw an effort cleared off the line, but she was not to be denied a second time as she rounded Charlotte Merry and tapped home to complete the turnaround for Cardiff six minutes before half-time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Houghton was in the right place at the right time to tuck away the rebound from Gillian Keenan\u2019s strike which hit the post to add a third goal for the Bluebirds just eight minutes into the second half. Ferry quickly halved the deficit through Maia Owen, who scored from Brooke Llywelyn\u2019s free-kick delivery, but Cardiff saw out the final half hour to ensure they got off the mark for the new campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swansea City maintained their perfect record as they came from behind to triumph 3-1 against Cardiff Met at the ThermaGlaze Ground.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Met stunned the hosts as Lily Moralee-Hughes puts the Archers ahead with her first goal for the club in the seventh minute, but the Swans were immediately level as a cross into the box deflected off Carys Gittins and found a way past Anna Phelps.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taite Trivett saw two efforts fly inches over the bar as both teams remained all square heading into half time, but Swansea captain Jess Williams headed home from Lauren Davies\u2019 cross to complete the comeback six minutes after the restart. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caitlin Seaborne ensured Yzzy Taylor\u2019s side were taking home three points after 72 minutes played as the youngster scored her first ever Genero Adran Premier goal. Swansea have now won their opening three league matches of a season for the first time since the 2021\/22 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
