Rhianne Oakley got the Bluebirds off the mark, firing in from close range in the 27th<\/sup> minute, before two quick-fire goals in the opening five minutes of the second half wrapped up the win for Iain Darbyshire\u2019s side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hollie Smith headed home Ffion Price\u2019s corner to double the advantage, while Eliza Collie made it three soon after by coolly finishing from Molly Kehoe\u2019s cross. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiff still have a five-point lead at the top of the table, but are being chased by second-place Swansea City, who defeated third-place Wrexham 3-2 at Llandarcy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides found the net inside the opening ten minutes as Amber Lightfoot\u2019s composed finish cancelled out Steph Turner\u2019s header, but the Swans went back in front shortly before half-time as Katy Hosford surged into the box and smashed home past Del Morgan at her near post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosford netted again \u2013 her fourth goal of the season against Wrexham \u2013 midway through the second half as she headed home Ellie Lake\u2019s delivery. Carra Jones\u2019 93rd<\/sup>-minute strike from the edge of the box proved only to be a consolation for the visitors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esme Kilburn-Thompson scored a hat-trick and also grabbed an assist as Cardiff Met came from a goal down to earn a 4-1 win over The New Saints. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emily Ridge\u2019s close-range finish put the Saints ahead after just eight minutes, but Kilburn-Thompson levelled the scoreline in the 43rd<\/sup> minute by tapping home the rebound after Sophie Davidson\u2019s effort struck the crossbar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The turnaround was complete just a minute later when Molly Chapman marked her first start for the Archers with her first goal, finishing calmly after Kilburn-Thompson\u2019s shot, had been saved by Ellie Suckley. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kilburn-Thompson was clinical inside the area twice more to complete her hat-trick in the second half as Met secured their first home league win since October. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barry Town United could have overtaken TNS and moved to the top of the Plate Conference, but the Linnets were held to a 1-1 draw with Pontypridd United, who earned just their second point of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teenager Efa Preece-Jones broke the deadlock to give Ponty the lead in the 52nd<\/sup> minute, but Taite Trivett came off the bench to find an equaliser for Barry by firing home the rebound from Catherine Walsh\u2019s free kick on 70 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ponty\u2019s survival hopes are now hanging by a thread, as they sit 13 points adrift of safety with 15 left to play for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
