Genero Adran North leaders Connah\u2019s Quay Nomads will aim to start 2024 in the same free-scoring fashion as how they finished 2023 when they host third-place Felinheli on Sunday.\u00a0<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Jordan Parry\u2019s side currently have a three-point advantage over title rivals Llandudno, having won all six of their league matches so far this term. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Felinheli have been the best of the rest behind the top two so far, winning three of their five matches in the Genero Adran North to sit third. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nomads have outdone Felinheli twice already this season – a 4-1 victory in the NEWFA Cup and a 4-0 win in the reverse league fixture.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llandudno will look to keep up the pressure at the top of the table when they travel to Belle Vue to face fourth-place Rhyl. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seasiders have won five of their six league games so far this season \u2013 losing to Connah\u2019s Quay Nomads in November \u2013 while Rhyl have won two, drawn two and lost two. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be the meeting of two of the league\u2019s top goalscorers in Llandudno\u2019s Stevie Donougher (11 goals) and Rhyl\u2019s Sade Benjamin (six goals), so a clean sheet for either side could be hard to come by. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides will be aiming to bounce back following heavy defeats to top-flight sides in the Genero Adran Trophy last month, but Llandudno may fancy themselves to grab all three points after their 5-2 victory over the Lilywhites earlier in the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two crucial fixtures in the bottom half of the table, with eighth-place Llanfair United hosting sixth-place NFA and fifth-place Bangor hosting seventh-place Airbus UK Broughton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llanfair have just three points to their name and are the only side in the division yet to win this season, but visitors NFA are only point better off having played one more game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Llanfair did earn a 2-0 victory against NFA in the Genero Adran Trophy group stage before a Jess Mills masterclass inspired NFA to a 4-2 victory in the league reverse fixture in November – their first ever win in the Genero Adran North. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bangor and Airbus are both on four points ahead of their meeting at Nantporth Stadium, with the Wingmakers having played two games more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee Starkey\u2019s side went into the Christmas break on a run of three consecutive league defeats, whereas Bangor are unbeaten in their last two. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was nothing to separate the two sides in a 1-1 draw in their Genero Adran Trophy group stage clash earlier in the season, but Mia Roberts\u2019 first half strike earned Bangor a 1-0 win in the reverse league fixture at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
