The 2024 FAW National League Awards in association with Morgans Consult<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> took place at the Mercure Hotel in Cardiff on Saturday night, with players and managers recognised across the Genero Adran Leagues. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find out the winners below, decided by a public vote and independent panel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran Premier Player of the Season – Seren Watkins (Cardiff City)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve seen Seren Watkins transform this season from a combative midfielder to a box-to-box one who now has a lot of weapons in her arsenal. She still doesn\u2019t shy away from a battle, but the Bluebird has added so much more to her game. Watkins ended the season as City\u2019s third scorer while also bagging six assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran Premier Manager of the Season – Iain Darbyshire (Cardiff City)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiff City won a maiden treble this season, and manager Iain Darbyshire has been at the helm for all of it. Assembling a squad with a healthy mix of stars for the future and trusty veterans, he has guided City to yet more success this season. A 4-0 home win against Swansea City to win the league is definitely one that will stick in the manager\u2019s mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran Premier Young Player of the Season – Lili Jones (Wrexham)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Wrexham fan, Lili Jones has had a stellar year for her hometown club. Jones operates as such an integral link between the defence and the attack, and that fact is rubberstamped by her seven assists this year. The 18-year-old plays like a player beyond her years with the way she operates on the pitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran North Player of the Season – Maddie Williams (Llandudno)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maddie Williams once again proved this season why she is one of the Adran North\u2019s best players. In a Dudno team that were scoring goals at will this season, Williams stood out as not only a goalscorer, but also a creator of good goals. Twelve goals and ten assists is a great return for the forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran North Manager of the Season – Jordan Hadaway (Llandudno)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When he took the role, Jordan Hadaway had the task of reducing the age of the squad while also trying to be competitive. Hadaway and his team did more than just try this season, as they marched to the Genero Adran North title. Dudno only dropped two points all season, scoring 80 and conceding 18 in the process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran North Young Player of the Season – Menna Evans (Bangor)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bangor are another side who have enjoyed a solid first season in the Adran North, and Menna Evans is a player that has certainly enjoyed it more than most. Leading the team in goals and assists this season, good performances against Llandudno and Connah\u2019s Quay Nomads have shown she is someone who can mix it up with the league\u2019s best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran South Player of the Season – Laura-May Walkley (Briton Ferry Llansawel)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again, this season, Laura-May Walkley has shown her quality for Briton Ferry. Eleven goals and nine assists this year is another great tally for a player who has played against some of the country\u2019s biggest teams. Four goal involvements against Llanelli Town in one game, two goals against Cascade, a goal in the playoff final, Walkley performs well against everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran South Manager of the Season – Rhys James (Briton Ferry Llansawel)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After last season\u2019s heartbreak, Rhys James has picked his Briton Ferry side back up and led them to a truly unforgettable season. Twelve wins out of twelve in the Adran South, where Ferry scored 55 and only conceded five, followed by a playoff win over Llandudno means James will always have an invincible season on his CV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran South Young Player of the Season – Keira Harris (Pontardawe Town)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It hasn\u2019t been the easiest of seasons for Pontardawe Town, but Keira Harris was a shining light for them. The only player to play in all twelve games, Harris scored four and assisted three, and she scored a goal in Ponty\u2019s only victory of the season against Caldicot Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special Recognition Award – Norma Samuel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awarded posthumously following Norma’s sad passing earlier this year, this award recognised the incredible impact that she had on Taffs Well and the wider Welsh football landscape. Norma broke down barriers in a male-dominated sport, helped drive the club forward and inspired those around her.
