Preview this weekend\u2019s key matches as teams look to head into Christmas with three points. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran Premier \u2013 The New Saints v Swansea City (Sunday, 1pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Genero Adran Premier leaders Cardiff City not in action this weekend, The New Saints can go top of the table with victory at home to Swansea City on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TNS sit just two points behind the Bluebirds in the standings and earned a statement 1-0 victory over the champions in the Genero Adran Trophy quarter-finals last weekend \u2013 extending their unbeaten run to 10 matches in all competitions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Swansea will see this as a major opportunity to firmly assert themselves in the title race as victory would see them move level on points with the Saints. Jamie Sherwood\u2019s side began December with a 3-1 league win at home to Aberystwyth Town, before they triumphed 5-0 over Cascade in the Genero Adran Trophy last weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swansea were the last away team to win at Park Hall, securing a 5-1 win in last season\u2019s Genero Adran Trophy semi-finals, but TNS stunned the Swans in their last meeting in October as Chantelle Teare\u2019s hat-trick inspired a 5-0 win at Llandarcy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran North \u2013 Connah\u2019s Quay Nomads v Bangor (Sunday, 2pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connah\u2019s Quay Nomads can head into the Christmas break with a perfect record still intact in the Genero Adran North if they can defeat Bangor at The Poppies 3G on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nomads moved six points clear of Llandudno at the top of the table with a 5-2 comeback victory over the Seasiders a fortnight ago, although the reigning champions do have a game in hand. The Nomads are the highest scorers in the division with 19 goals to their name, and they have the best defence so far, conceding just four goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bangor have drawn three out of their first four league matches, the most recent ending 1-1 at home to NFA at the beginning of December. Yet they continue to look for their first league win since January and their first on the road in over a year.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nomads and Bangor have already met this season, when Polly Wild-McGregor\u2019s hat-trick helped the Flintshire side to earn a 6-0 win in the Genero Adran Trophy group stage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genero Adran South \u2013 Swansea University v Penybont (Sunday, 2pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a first away win of the season over Caldicot Town two weeks ago, Swansea University will be hoping to continue momentum when they host Penybont on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellie Raggett\u2019s early goal was enough to see the Swans triumph 1-0 over Caldicot, keeping them third in the table with six points from four matches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bont are fifth in the table with three points, but have played one less game. Rhys Thomas\u2019 side have settled into life in the Genero Adran South and triumphed 2-0 over last season\u2019s runners-up Cascade last month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, a 2-0 home defeat to Cwmbran Celtic in their most recent outing means that they will be looking for a response ahead of the Christmas break. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
