Conwy-based Penmaenmawr Phoenix FC obtained the lease for a disused, rundown facility that was in need of a refurbish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, the club only had one playable grass pitch for senior and junior players – only usable when the weather allowed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to an investment of just over \u00a350,000, the Cymru Football Foundation – in partnership with Sport Wales – were able to support with a full re-surface of the facility coupled with LED floodlight to allow winter usage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new MUGA also now generates income for the club through external bookings from members of the community – supporting a CFF priority of stronger and sustainable community-focussed clubs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
