There is plenty of league action on the agenda this weekend in addition to cup ties, including a crunch meeting at the top of the JD Cymru South. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru Premier \u2013 Penybont v Haverfordwest County (Saturday, 12:15pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penybont will hope to bounce back from defeat against Cardiff Met last weekend when they host Haverfordwest County in Saturday\u2019s early kick-off, live on Sgorio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Title-chasing Bont conceded in the 95th<\/sup> minute to lose 2-1 at Cyncoed, leaving them a point behind league leaders The New Saints who now have a game in hand. It means that Rhys Griffiths\u2019 side can ill afford many more slip ups, but they are unbeaten in their last six home games in the league and have only lost once at the SDM Glass Stadium this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third-place Haverfordwest began Phase Two with a 3-2 home win over Bala Town last Saturday, extending their unbeaten streak to five matches, and a win in Bridgend would see them move just four points Penybont. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing could separate the two sides in a goalless draw in their first meeting this season, before Bont earned 1-0 home wins in the Nathaniel MG Cup and the league courtesy of goals from Owen Pritchard and Mael Davies respectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru North \u2013 Prestatyn Town v Mold Alexandra (Friday, 7:45pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After victory over Caersws last weekend, Prestatyn Town will hope they have finally turned a corner this season ahead of their home game against Mold Alexandra on Friday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tyler Joyce\u2019s late goal \u2013 and Robbie Williams\u2019 even later penalty save \u2013 saw the Seasiders defeat the Bluebirds 1-0, which ended their 13-match losing streak which stretched back to September. However, they are still 12 points adrift of safety with 11 games remaining. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mold moved up to sixth in the table with a comfortable 4-1 win at home against Llay Miners Welfare last weekend, but they have taken just one point from their last four league matches on the road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Damase Kiwanda\u2019s five-goal haul gave Mold an emphatic 7-0 victory over Prestatyn back in August, which is the Alex\u2019s largest ever win in the JD Cymru North. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru South \u2013 Llanelli Town v Trethomas Bluebirds (Friday, 7:30pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top two in the JD Cymru South go head-to-head on Friday night as Llanelli Town host Trethomas Bluebirds in a crucial clash. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two sides currently sit level on 46 points \u2013 with Llanelli top on goal difference \u2013 after the Reds beat Newport City last weekend and the Bluebirds were held to a draw by Ammanford. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is now three straight wins for Lee John\u2019s side, who have not lost since the start of October, while Trethomas have only lost once in the same time period. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was Llanelli who came out on top in September\u2019s reverse fixture, as Henry Jones grabbed a goal and two assists in a 4-1 victory. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
