Colwyn Bay moved within one point of the JD Cymru North title following a 3-0 home win over rivals Llandudno on Saturday. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 1,300 fans were in attendance to witness the derby at the Four Crosses Construction Arena and they did not have to wait long for the opening goal as Dan Atkins headed home Sam Hart\u2019s corner after just three minutes \u2013 his fifth goal in four matches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A corner again caused problems for Llandudno in the 14th<\/sup> minute as they failed to deal with Jay Owen\u2019s delivery, allowing Lewis Sirrell to nod in to double Bay\u2019s advantage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victory was sealed midway through the second half by substitute Lloyd Marsh-Hughes, who had only been on the pitch for four minutes, as he provided the finish to Sol Forde\u2019s flick on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seagulls are three points clear at the top of the table heading into the final day, after second-place Airbus UK Broughton were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Mold Alexandra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wingmakers took the lead in the 17th<\/sup> minute when Kaiden Cooke brought down a long ball and tapped beyond Michael Crossley for his seventh goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus struck the woodwork twice in the second as Jordan Evans\u2019 thunderous strike hit the post and Joe Palmer\u2019s header crashed off the crossbar, before a sucker punch arrived with 11 minutes left on the clock when Lucas Gregson guided a header into the bottom corner from Josh Watkin\u2019s pinpoint cross to bring Mold level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It means that Colwyn Bay will win the title if they avoid defeat away at Penrhyncoch on the final day, while Airbus must triumph away at Caersws and hope that the Seagulls lose if they are to lift the trophy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the other end of the table, Ruthin Town and Bangor 1876 will meet in a mouthwatering final day encounter to avoid relegation to the third tier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruthin currently sit in the bottom three but earned a 0-0 draw away at Buckley Town on Friday night \u2013 their first clean sheet on the road all season \u2013 to move two points behind 13th-place Bangor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It meant that the Citizens would have secured survival with a home win over Caersws on Saturday, but they suffered an agonising 2-1 defeat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a first half of few chances was coming to a close, Caersws found the breakthrough in the 44th<\/sup> minute when Rhys Hesden produced a superb curling finish into the bottom corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bangor levelled the contest six minutes after the restart as Jake Ellison produced a thumping finish from Tom Mahoney\u2019s cross, but there was late drama to come in stoppage time as Caersws substitute Tommy Rowlands rifled home a loose ball in the box in the 95th<\/sup> minute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guilsfield secured their first away win in the JD Cymru North since November as James Smallwood and Iwan Matthews both scored twice in a 5-1 comeback victory over Flint Mountain on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remarkably, Mountain took the lead straight from kick-off at the Essity Stadium as a long ball forward was nodded down by Aaron Simpson for Jack Parry to hammer home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Smallwood and Joe Haycock both found the net to turn the game around in Guilsfield\u2019s favour by half-time, before Smallwood grabbed his second early in the second half and then turned provider for Matthews to make it 4-1 shortly prior to the hour mark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthews completed his brace in the 67th<\/sup> minute to cap off a fourth consecutive win for Guilsfield, who climb into the top half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Denbigh Town also hit five on Friday night to move up to seventh in the table, as the Reds stormed to a 5-0 home win over Llay Miners Welfare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alfie Vaughan\u2019s composed finish one-on-one with Henry Green put Denbigh ahead in the 37th minute, before Nathan Brown made it two from close range in first half stoppage time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Owen Davies added his name to the scoresheet on the hour mark by intercepting the ball in a dangerous area, racing through on goal and firing past Green. Vaughan headed home his second of the evening in the 89th<\/sup>minute, before he set up Brown to complete his brace in stoppage time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penrhyncoch earned their first win in three matches as they came from behind to win 2-1 away at Prestatyn Town on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seasiders took the lead three minutes before half-time when Macauley Taylor rose highest from Rob Parry\u2019s corner and headed beyond Leigh Jenkins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Penrhyncoch turned the game around with a brace from Rhydian Davies in the final 15 minutes \u2013 the midfielder\u2019s first goals for the club since signing from Bow Street last summer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holywell Town have failed to win back-to-back home matches in the JD Cymru North for the first time in two and a half years after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Gresford Athletic on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wellmen forwards Brady McGilloway and Jake Roberts both had efforts denied by Gresford goalkeeper Lewis Dutton, while Colliers midfielder Charley Edge saw his curling free-kick denied by the post late on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
