He was once again doing the rounds on social media with a staggering finish that put Penrhiwceiber Rangers to the sword in last weekend\u2019s 3-1 Southern final victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a mesmerising finish that was truly fit for any level, Trundle chested down a diagonal ball before emphatically unleashing a pinpoint finish into the top-corner from a narrow angle on the edge of the 18-yard box.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/d20w35i08zcmee.cloudfront.net\/2025-4-18_Trefelin-v-Penrhiwceiber_132-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12178\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d20w35i08zcmee.cloudfront.net\/2025-4-18_Trefelin-v-Penrhiwceiber_132-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/d20w35i08zcmee.cloudfront.net\/2025-4-18_Trefelin-v-Penrhiwceiber_132-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/d20w35i08zcmee.cloudfront.net\/2025-4-18_Trefelin-v-Penrhiwceiber_132-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/d20w35i08zcmee.cloudfront.net\/2025-4-18_Trefelin-v-Penrhiwceiber_132.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Trundle scored a stunning goal against Penrhiwceiber Rangers in the Southern final<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlways, all the way through my career, I always think how fast can I get my first shot off? And that was the first chance I got to hit a shot,\u201d he explained.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlthough it was a tight angle, I still back myself in those areas in and around the box, so it was nice to see that one fly into the top-corner.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trefelin\u2019s route to the final has been far from straightforward however, with the side required to come from behind in all three rounds prior to the Southern final. They\u2019ve scored a lot of goals, they only lost out to Colwyn Bay, who\u2019re a very strong side this season, so we\u2019re expecting a good game of football. It\u2019s going to be a good day out for both clubs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, beyond this season Trundle has no desire to wind down his playing career and still has ambitions of gracing the JD Cymru South with Trefelin for yet another season.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve had a great season, I\u2019ve had 21 goals in all competitions. I\u2019ve played under the management staff before and \u2018Hillo\u2019 (Andy Hill) is my favourite manager to play under and I have a lot of close friends at the club.
