All of the latest news from across the JD Cymru Leagues as the 2025\/26 season edges ever closer. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru Premier<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Less than a month after The New Saints\u2019 Connor Roberts gained international recognition, another goalkeeper who featured in the JD Cymru Premier last season received an international call-up, with former Caernarfon Town loanee Stephen McMullan added to Northern Ireland\u2019s squad to face Iceland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cofis have started their transfer business this summer with the signings of former Cymru U18 striker Connor Evans from Southport and Kyle Harrison from Bala Town. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lakesiders have confirmed that Colin Caton<\/a> will be succeeded by his long-serving coaching duo of Stephen Fisher and Ryan Valentine as manager and first-team coach respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From a new era at Maes Tegid to The New Saints, with the treble winners making their first summer signings with a trio of new arrivals – Jacob Owen, Ken Charles and ex-Nottingham Forest midfielder Jack Nadin have all put pen-to-paper for Craig Harrison\u2019s side. Nadin and Charles both featured in a 5-2 win<\/a> over Player FC in the Saints’ first pre-season friendly, with former St Alban’s City striker Charles scoring an impressive volley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haverfordwest County have acted quickly to replace outgoing goalkeeper Zac Jones, with Luc Rees agreeing a move from Barry Town United. Boss Tony Pennock says that the 22-year-old will compete with fellow youngster Ifan Knott for a starting spot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru North<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Last season\u2019s runners-up Airbus UK Broughton have strengthened with Mason Blackwell-Jones and Blaine Hudson becoming their first signings of the summer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holywell Town have announced a Volunteers Day at their Barton’s North Wales Stadium on Saturday 14 June in preparation for their new campaign, while confirmed the signings of Ieuan Hewitt, Joe Sullivan, Fabrizio Murtas and Tyler French. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been a busy week of incomings and outgoings at Gresford Athletic, who have also unveiled a new club badge. The Colliers have seen Iwan Roberts, Mitchell Williams, Jake Roberts and Mark Winslade all come through the door, while winger Charley Edge has made the switch to Newtown and Dave Forbes has joined Mold Alexandra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aden Shannon has departed Flint Mountain after three years as manager, with the club confirming that they have accepted his resignation ‘with regret’. Shannon led Mountain to promotion to the JD Cymru North in 2023\/24, while also reaching the JD Welsh Cup quarter-finals, before earning a seventh-place finish in their first season in the second tier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru South<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

New Aberystwyth Town manager Callum McKenzie has overseen several arrivals at Park Avenue as they embark in their first season in the JD Cymru South. Dylan Downs, Calvin Smith, and Desean Martin all arrive from rivals Newtown while Tyrone Ofori, Sam Paddock, Kane Auld and Star Mayemba have also been added to a new-look Seasiders squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fresh from winning the league title with Llanelli Town last season, Liam Eason and Cam Strinati have both returned to Cambrian United. Eason topped the JD Cymru South scoring charts in 2024\/25 with 27 goals in 29 appearances, which also earned him the division’s Player of the Season award. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newcomers Treowen Stars have announced that defender Jamie Russell has retired from football following last season’s successful promotion campaign. The 37-year-old won four league titles while with the Stars, cementing himself as a club legend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
