Ynyshir Albions completed a late turnaround win 3-2 and stun Pontypridd United at USW Sport Park in the JD Cymru South on Friday night. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calum Salter got the Buns off to a flying start as he tucked away the rebound from Joseff Haig\u2019s saved effort inside only three minutes, but Ponty turned the contest around to lead at half-time thanks Jamie Veale\u2019s penalty and Sam Johnson\u2019s clinical finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dragons held on to the lead until the 74th<\/sup> minute when Cory Morgan found equaliser for Ynyshir, before the midfielder thumped home the winning goal with just two minutes left on the clock to earn the Rhondda side their first points of the campaign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cambrian United won 4-0 for the second consecutive league game as they overcame Cwmbran Celtic at the M&P Group 3G on Friday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jarrad Wright fired home his first goal since returning to the club to break the deadlock in the 16th<\/sup> minute, before Liam Eason doubled the advantage in first half stoppage time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liam Williams\u2019 side did not add to their tally until the 83rd<\/sup> minute when Eason turned provider for Jacob Jones, while last season\u2019s JD Cymru South golden boot winner grabbed his second of the night \u2013 and fifth already this season \u2013 in stoppage time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newly-promoted Treowen Stars earned their first ever victory in the second tier with an emphatic 4-0 win away against Afan Lido on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Stars took the lead in style on the half hour mark courtesy of Gavin Meacham, whose audacious effort from the halfway line caught out Lido goalkeeper Ben Haines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meacham then set up Craig McDonnell for a looping finish in the 64th<\/sup> minute, before Chris Davies made it three with a clinical strike into the bottom corner from outside the area seven minutes later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lido\u2019s woes increased as substitute Liam McCreesh was sent off for a second bookable offence with eight minutes remaining, which gave Treowen just enough time to add a fourth goal in the 90th<\/sup> minute through Macsen Evans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penalties dominated the headlines at the Rec on Friday night as Ammanford triumphed 2-1 over Llantwit Major to make it two wins from two games in the league this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The host were awarded a spot-kick in the 13th<\/sup> minute only for Kane Draper to deny Adam John from 12 yards, but the forward was not to be denied five minutes later as his fierce strike found the net via the underside of the crossbar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Referee Daniel Richardson pointed to the spot in Ammanford\u2019s favour again on 32 minutes, but remarkably Draper produced more heroics to keep out Dan John\u2019s strike. However, like his namesake Adam, the Cardiff Met loanee<\/a> went on to find the net early in the second half to double his side\u2019s advantage.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llantwit won a penalty of their own just after the hour mark which Connor Goldsworthy converted to half the deficit, but Ammanford held on to secure their first home league win since January. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newport City continued their perfect start to the league campaign as they earned a statement 2-0 victory away at Trefelin on Saturday afternoon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Steelmen took just 16 minutes to open the scoring as Josh Graham beat his marker and fired across goal into the far corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kayne Mclaggon, who bagged the winner in the opening day win over Afan Lido, gave his side a two-goal cushion with a calmly converted penalty in the 50th<\/sup> minute. A second consecutive clean sheet ensured that Sam Houldsworth\u2019s earned a league win in a row. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carmarthen Town also made it two wins from two matches with a narrow 2-1 victory over Cardiff Draconians at the LHP Stadium on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keyon Reffell followed up his opening day goal against Cwmbran Celtic by putting the Old Gold ahead in first half stoppage time. Fellow summer signing Luke Cummings then scored directly from corner to double the advantage on 66 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dracs substitute Myles Corson immediately pulled a goal back for his side, but Carmarthen did enough to earn their first home win since January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final side on maximum points from the opening two games are Aberystwyth Town, who came from behind to seal a 2-1 win against Baglan Dragons at Park Avenue on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dragons captain Lewis Holmes escaped his marker and headed home at the back post from a flick-on to give his side a seventh-minute lead, but Zac Hartley levelled the contest midway through the first half with a sublime strike from distance after cutting in from the right wing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seasiders\u2019 winning goal came just two minutes into the second half as new signing Star Mayemba found room inside the area to curl into the bottom corner and open his account on his first start for the club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
