A full schedule of JD Cymru Leagues action returns this weekend as teams aim to sign off September with victory. Here are the key games to keep an eye on. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru Premier \u2013 Llanelli Town v Haverfordwest County (Friday, 7:45pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two sides currently in the JD Cymru Premier relegation zone meet on Friday night as Llanelli Town host Haverfordwest County at Stebonheath. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following defeats in their first seven league games of the season, Llanelli have earned four points over the last week \u2013 getting off the mark with a goalless draw at home against Colwyn Bay before coming from behind to triumph 2-1 away at Briton Ferry on Tuesday night to earn their first win back in the top-flight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llanelli Town knocked Haverfordwest County out of the JD Welsh Cup last season<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Reds are now just one point adrift of safety and one point behind 11th<\/sup>-place Haverfordwest, who have endured a challenging campaign so far after their third-place finish last season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bluebirds conceded late to lose 3-2 at home to Barry Town United on Tuesday night \u2013 their fourth successive league defeat, which is the club\u2019s worst losing streak in the JD Cymru Premier since October 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday will be the first top-flight meeting between the sides for 15 years, but Haverfordwest did the double over Llanelli in the JD Cymru South in 2019\/20 while the Reds were 2-0 winners in the most recent meeting in last season\u2019s JD Welsh Cup Round Four. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru Premier \u2013 Bala Town v The New Saints (Friday, 7:45pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru Premier leaders The New Saints will be targeting their fifth straight league victory when they travel to face Bala Town at Maes Tegid on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reigning champions moved top of the table for the first time this season with a 3-1 win away at Cardiff Met last weekend, before triumphing 4-2 over Flint Town United at Park Hall in midweek. Record signing Ben Wilson has firmly found his form, with four goals in his last three matches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bala won both matches against TNS in Phase One last season before the Saints got their revenge in Phase Two<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Bala\u2019s new-look side have enjoyed an encouraging start to the season and currently sit in fourth place. The Lakesiders were without a win in three matches ahead of their Tuesday night trip to Colwyn Bay, but Hussein Mehasseb\u2019s first half header proved decisive in a 1-0 victory over the Seagulls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bala became the first ever team to defeat TNS home and away in Phase One of a JD Cymru Premier campaign last season as the Lakesiders earned 3-2 and 1-0 victories. However, the Saints did get revenge in Phase Two with 2-0 and 2-1 wins on their way to lifting the title. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru North \u2013 Holyhead Hotspur v Caersws (Saturday, 2:30pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holyhead Hotspur and Caersws meet at The New Stadium on Saturday with both sides struggling for points at this early stage of the JD Cymru North season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

14th-place Holyhead are one of three teams in the division \u2013 along with Flint Mountain and Penrhyncoch \u2013 yet to win this season. Darren Garmey\u2019s side have fought back to earn a point from each of their last two matches, drawing 1-1 with Penrhyncoch before a thrilling 5-5 draw away at Buckley Town. A 4-0 win over Foden United in the JD Welsh Cup last weekend will have been a confidence-booster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holyhead Hotspur are still searching for their first league win of the season<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Caersws are level with Holyhead on three points, although those all came in a 2-0 win over Brickfield Rangers at the start of August and the Bluebirds have since lost their last five league matches \u2013 although the last three have all been against sides currently in the top four. Craig Williams\u2019 side were also big winners in the JD Welsh Cup last weekend as Callum Francis-Jones\u2019 hat-trick inspired a 6-1 win over Hawarden Rangers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday will be the first meeting between the two sides since the 2017\/18 second tier season, when Holyhead did the double over Caersws by earning 3-0 and 4-1 victories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru South \u2013 Carmarthen Town v Newport City (Saturday, 2:30pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two sides with promotion ambitions meet in the JD Cymru South on Saturday as Carmarthen Town host unbeaten Newport City at the LHP Stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carmarthen took 10 points from their opening four league games of the season, but have since dropped points in their last three with draws at home against Baglan Dragons and Treowen Stars coming either side of a 3-1 away at Pontypridd United. Mark Aizlewood\u2019s side have not lost a league match on home turf since November 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newport City are the only side still unbeaten in the JD Cymru South this season<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Second-place Newport City are the only unbeaten side left in the division and they have enjoyed a bright start to September. Kayne Mclaggon\u2019s incredible late bicycle kick earned a dramatic 2-1 home win over league leaders Cambrian United, before Lathan Garrett\u2019s brace inspired a 3-1 victory away at Pontypridd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rio Booth\u2019s goal earned Carmarthen a 1-0 home win in the first meeting between the two sides last season, but the Steelmen would get revenge with a 3-0 triumph in March\u2019s reverse fixture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
