Holywell Town dropped points in the JD<\/a> Cymru North for the first time this season as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Rhyl 1879 at Bartons North Wales Stadium on Friday.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teenager Jack Parry fired Rhyl ahead with 29 minutes on the clock as he picked out the top corner with a clinical strike for his first goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lilywhites goalkeeper Alex Swindell made several key saves to maintain his side\u2019s narrow advantage, but the Wellmen eventually found an equaliser on 81 minutes thanks to talisman Jamie Breese, who tucked away the rebound from Jake Cooke\u2019s saved effort. Breese nearly bagged a late winner for the hosts, but his powerful strike was denied by the post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holywell\u2019s draw meant that Airbus UK Broughton moved top of the table on goal difference following a 5-2 away win over Gresford Athletic on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wingmakers took the lead inside just three minutes as Gresford defender Louis Holden turned George Peers\u2019 cross into his own net, before Josh Stevenson headed home Jordan Evans\u2019 corner to double the advantage in the 41st<\/sup> minute. It was 3-0 in first half stoppage time as Mason Blackwell-Jones produced a clinical strike from the edge of the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jake Roberts got Gresford on the scoresheet with his low drive eight minutes into the second half, but Airbus soon restored their three-goal cushion when James Smith was penalised for handball in the box and Peers stepped up to convert the resulting penalty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An unfortunate evening for Louis Holden continued just before the hour mark when Danny Warren\u2019s shot deflected off the defender for his second own goal of the game. Toby Gallagher-Keenan grabbed a consolation from distance for Gresford in stoppage time, but the contest was long over as Airbus secured their fourth straight league win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llandudno are up to second in the table, level on points with Airbus, after their 3-0 home win over Penrhyncoch on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iwan Cartwright\u2019s 24th<\/sup>-minute opener earned the Seasiders a narrow lead at the break, before Mark Cadwallader doubled the advantage midway through the second half just five minutes after coming on as a substitute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fellow substitute Dylan Proctor netted his first goal for Llandudno late in the day as Jordan Hadaway\u2019s side made it five consecutive league wins at the Go Goodwins Stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penrhyncoch are now bottom of the table after Flint Mountain earned their first win of the season by triumphing 2-0 over Ruthin Town at Bastion Gardens on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jonny O\u2019Sullivan scored his first goal for Mountain to open the scoring in the 31st<\/sup> minute, before the winger doubled the lead late on with a superb free-kick that left Dan Goldston with no chance. A first clean sheet since February ensured that Liam Dickinson\u2019s side sealed the three points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greg Draper scored twice as Newtown survived a second half scare to earn a 4-2 victory over Denbigh Town at Latham Park on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Robins stormed into a three-goal lead inside just 16 minutes as close range finishes from Draper and Jamie Hyne were followed by Aidan McCann\u2019s stunning strike into the top corner from distance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alfie Vaughan poked home from Matthew Worrall\u2019s long ball to give Denbigh hope four minutes into the second half, before Bobby Beaumont applied a simple finish from Gwion Dafydd\u2019s header back across goal to set up a tense final 20 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Draper met Tomas Jones\u2019 low ball and grabbed his second of the afternoon in the 89th<\/sup> minute to ensure Nathan Leonard\u2019s side took all three points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iwan Matthews and Adam Knott both scored twice as Guilsfield triumphed 4-1 at home against Brickfield Rangers on Saturday to climb up to sixth in the table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Guils made a lightning start to the contest as Matthews and Knott both scored their first goals of the afternoon inside the opening nine minutes. Matthews tucked away the rebound from Adam Hailes\u2019 effort which rattled the crossbar, while Knott headed home from James Smallwood\u2019s corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthews was in the right place at the right time once again to add a third goal for the hosts on 22 minutes as the striker finished off another rebound, this time from Sam Flory\u2019s header which struck the crossbar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andy Vale scored his first goal of the season in first half stoppage time to give Brickfield hope of a comeback after the break, but that did not materialise and Knott sealed victory for Guilsfield in the 93rd<\/sup> minute by guiding the ball home from Chris Cathrall\u2019s long throw. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Max Moore netted a late winner as Buckley Town moved into the top half with a 2-1 victory away at Mold Alexandra on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mold took the lead after just five minutes at Alyn Park as Craig Rogers produced a stunning free-kick from distance, but Buckley were level six minutes before half-time whistle when Ben Guest scored his first goal for the club with a close range volley past Henry Green. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just as it seemed this Flintshire derby would end level, Moore popped up in the 89th<\/sup> minute to give Asa Hamilton\u2019s side their first away win in the JD Cymru North this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holyhead Hotspur were denied their first league win of the campaign as Max McLaughlin\u2019s second half equaliser earned a point for Caersws in a 1-1 draw at The New Stadium on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Craig Whelan put Holyhead in front just five minutes into the second half, but that lead only lasted until the 64th<\/sup>minute when McLaughlin levelled the scoreline with first league goal of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
