Llandudno moved to the top of the JD Cymru North table as Mark Cadwallader\u2019s brace secured a 2-1 win over Denbigh Town at Central Park on Friday night. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cadwallader won the Seasiders a penalty in the 17th<\/sup> minute as he was brought down by Denbigh goalkeeper Elijah Beattie inside the area, with the 37-year-old stepping up to score from the spot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben Lockley brought Denbigh level nine minutes into the second half as he met Nathan Brown\u2019s free-kick and looped the ball over Shaun Pearson, but Llandudno\u2019s advantage was restored 15 minutes later when Cadwallader tapped home from close range. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is now 10 consecutive wins in all competitions for Jordan Hadaway\u2019s side, who held on to top spot after Holywell Town were beaten 1-0 at home by Buckley Town on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

40-year-old Chris Roberts, the former top-flight winning defender who was standing in as goalkeeper for Buckley, made two crucial saves in the first half as he denied Craig Lindfield one-on-one before tipping Jack Sconce\u2019s effort onto the crossbar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bucks then took the lead in the 68th<\/sup> minute as Aled Bellis headed home from Nick Grogan\u2019s cross, which proved enough to condemn Holywell to their first league defeat of the campaign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wellmen are down to third in the table, with Airbus UK Broughton moving up to second thanks to a 4-0 home win over Ruthin Town on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wingmakers, beaten by Llandudno seven days earlier, took just five minutes to opening the scoring as Mason Blackwell-Jones laid the ball off to George Peers who fired home off the post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Palmer headed home from Jordan Evans\u2019 cross in the 32nd<\/sup> minute before Sam Rickett weaved his way through the Ruthin defence and sent a low effort into the bottom corner three minutes later, as Airbus held a convincing lead at the break. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victory was sealed by Danny Warren shortly before the hour mark when he brought down Peers\u2019 cross and fired beyond Dan Goldston. Ruthin have since confirmed the departure of boss Dave Evans after 18 months in charge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fourth-place Newtown are now just three points behind top spot following their 3-1 victory away at Mold Alexandra on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louis Jacobs curled home a sweetly struck free-kick inside just two minutes to put Newtown ahead, while the forward bagged again three minutes before the break as he finished from close range. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mold halved the deficit early in the second half when Harry Cartwright fired home a loose ball, but they could not complete the comeback and Newtown wrapped up victory in stoppage time when teenage substitute Fin Starkey-Jones headed in his first league goal since August. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caersws won in the league for the first time since the start of August as two stoppage time goals snatched a 3-1 victory at home against Gresford Athletic on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gresford were awarded a penalty with just nine minutes on the clock, but Jake Roberts was denied from the spot by Max Williams. That proved costly for the visitors as Caersws went ahead four minutes into the second half when Tommy Rowlands finished off a swift counter-attack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iwan Roberts equalised for Gresford 15 minutes later, but there was late drama as Jake Humphreys\u2019 free-kick deflected beyond Lewis Dutton to put Caersws ahead in the 92nd<\/sup> minute before Dillon Browne sealed victory by finishing off another counter attack two minutes later.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guilsfield extended their unbeaten run in the league to seven matches as Iwan Matthews\u2019 brace inspired a 3-1 victory over Holyhead Hotspur at Clos Mytton on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corey Jones finished in the midst of a goalmouth scramble to give Holyhead the lead in the 23rd<\/sup> minute, but Matthews equalised almost immediately with a low drive into the bottom corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthews completed the turnaround six minutes before half-time as he fired home the rebound from Sam Flory\u2019s saved effort, while Adam Knott wrapped things up for the Guils in the 73rd<\/sup> minute by tapping in a loose ball at the front post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brickfield Rangers earned their first JD Cymru North win in over two months with a 4-1 triumph over Penrhyncoch at Clywedog Park on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rangers made a dream start to the contest as Danny Jones bagged a quickfire double in the opening seven minutes, while Penrhyncoch forward Owain Evans missed from the penalty spot in first half stoppage time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calum Huxley and Andy Vale both found the net in the final 20 minutes as Brickfield made it 4-0, but there was a slight dampener for the hosts as defender Ryan Willliams was shown a straight red card. Dion Phillips netted a consolation goal for Penrhyncoch in stoppage time, but the Roosters remain bottom of the table and four points adrift of safety. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flint Mountain survived a late scare to triumph 3-2 over Rhyl 1879 at the Hops and Barley Community Stadium on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mountain took just two minutes to open the scoring as Sam Lestrange finished off a neat move, before the 20-year-old netted again to double the lead shortly after the half hour mark. Captain Kieran Owens then added a third goal for the visitors on 67 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Substitute Rocco Hewitt gave Rhyl a lifeline with a goal against his former club in the 87th<\/sup> minute, before Lilywhites midfielder Ben Lightfoot scored from the penalty spot deep into stoppage time, but Mountain held on for a second win in three games to climb up to 11th<\/sup> in the table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
