Here are the key games to keep an eye on.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JD Cymru Premier \u2013 Barry Town United v Llanelli Town (Friday, 7:45pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barry Town United will hope to confirm their place in this season\u2019s JD Cymru Premier Championship Conference when they host Llanelli Town at Jenner Park on Friday night.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Linnets are currently sixth in the table, sitting above seventh-place Cardiff Met only on goal difference ahead of the final round of Phase One matches. The Reds did show signs of improvement in a narrow 1-0 loss to Penybont on New Year\u2019s Day, so will be hoping to head into Phase Two with a positive result.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barry have already beaten Llanelli three times this season, with a 2-0 win on the opening day of the league campaign before 1-0 and 6-0 victories in the Nathaniel MG Cup and JD Welsh Cup respectively. The Lakesiders are unbeaten in their last 11 league matches against the Silkmen, a record spanning back to October 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JD Cymru North \u2013 Gresford Athletic v Penrhyncoch (Saturday, 2pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JD Cymru North bottom two face off on Saturday as Gresford Athletic host Penrhyncoch at The Hollingsworth Group Stadium.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Captain Paul Johnson scored a stoppage time winner as Gresford triumphed 3-2 away at Denbigh Town on New Year\u2019s Day, their first league win in 11 league matches since the start of September. Dan Owen\u2019s goal in the 1-1 draw against Ruthin Town on New Year\u2019s Eve was his fifth in his last four matches.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gresford came from two goals down to earn a thrilling 4-2 victory over Penrhyncoch in the first meeting between the two sides last season before they played out a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JD Cymru North \u2013 Newtown v Llandudno (Saturday, 2:30pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JD Cymru North leaders Llandudno will aim to bounce back from their first defeat of the campaign when they travel to fourth-place Newtown on Saturday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Newtown have picked up just two points from their last five league games and find themselves six points behind the promotion spots following back-to-back defeats to Airbus UK Broughton and Caersws over the festive period.
