Llandudno earned their biggest ever JD Cymru North win by triumphing 7-1 over Gresford Athletic at the Go Goodwins Stadium on Friday. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seasiders took the lead inside just seven minutes through Callum Stephens, but Gresford levelled the scoreline shortly after the half hour mark as captain Paul Johnson fired home a loose ball. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The match remained level until the 61st<\/sup> minute, when a stunning strike from Nick Grogan restored Llandudno\u2019s lead and Aidan Higgins then gave the hosts comfort 10 minutes later with his sixth goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gresford\u2019s hopes of a comeback were dashed when Johnson was sent off for a second bookable moments after Higgins\u2019 goal, which allowed Llandudno to take further control as Stephens bagged his second of the match. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark Cadwallader came off the bench and bagged a quickfire brace to extend the advantage, as he prodded in from Dylan Proctor\u2019s cross just a minute before he rounded Lewis Dutton and tapped home. Fellow substitute Marc Williams wrapped up an emphatic victory late on with his first goal since returning to the club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jordan Hadaway\u2019s side remain two points clear at the top of the table after second-place Airbus UK Broughton maintained pressure on the league leaders with a 3-1 victory over Rhyl 1879 at the Hops and Barley Community Stadium on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following a goalless first half, Airbus took the lead four minutes after the break as Mason Blackwell-Jones received Danny Warren\u2019s pass and slotted home for his first goal since September. Jordan Evans produced a moment of magic to double the Wingmakers\u2019 advantage in the 63rd<\/sup> minute he beautifully curled a free-kick into the top corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam Duffy turned home Ben Lawrence\u2019s cross to give Rhyl a lifeline 10 minutes later, but Evans restored Airbus\u2019 two-goal cushion late in the day by finishing off a swift counter-attack. The Wingmakers have now won their last eight matches in all competitions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bottom-of-the-table Ruthin Town earned their first win of 2026 as Danny Holland\u2019s late strike proved enough to secure a 1-0 win over Brickfield Rangers at Clywedog Park on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides were deadlocked for 76 minutes, until Holland popped up with his fourth league goal of the campaign to secure a crucial three points \u2013 Ruthin\u2019s first away win since October. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relegation-threatened Penrhyncoch earned a crucial victory over Mold Alexandra<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

However, Colin Caton\u2019s side remain bottom of the table on goal difference after 15th<\/sup>-place Penrhyncoch secured a 3-1 victory over Mold Alexandra at Cae Baker on Saturday.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Roosters made a dream start to the contest, going ahead inside just two minutes as Dan Owen scored his eighth league goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mold equalised on 35 minutes thanks to a close-range finish from 17-year-old Charlie Rush, who was making his first senior start for the club, but John James immediately restored Penrhyncoch\u2019s lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mold defender Harvey Morris was sent off for a second bookable offence in second half stoppage time, before Geoff Kellaway sealed the win for Penrhyncoch from the penalty spot.\u00a0Just three points now separate the bottom six in the JD Cymru North. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
