Llanelli Town were relegated from the JD Cymru Premier after losing 1-0 to Haverfordwest County at Stebonheath on Friday night. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haverfordwest came close to taking the lead early on as Dan Hawkins saw two quickfire strikes denied by Alex Pennock, while Ben Ahmun had his effort across goal cleared off the line by Sean Cronin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the visitors eventually made their first half pressure count in the 27th<\/sup> minute when Hawkins slid onto Ahmun\u2019s inviting low cross and tapped home his fourth league goal of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bluebirds saw out the remainder of the match to continue their perfect start to Phase Two and make it four consecutive league wins for the first time since April 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Saints took a step closer to the JD Cymru Premier title with a 2-1 victory over Caernarfon Town at Park Hall on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caernarfon thought they had scored inside the opening minute when Rio Owen slotted home from Darren Thomas\u2019 low cross, but the goal was ruled out for offside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TNS brushed aside that early scare and took the lead in the 10th<\/sup> minute when Brad Young\u2019s headed clearance from Ben Clark\u2019s cross fell kindly for captain Danny Redmond, who clinically volleyed into the bottom corner for his first goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ex-Saints frontman Young opened his account for the Cofis against his former club when he fired in from Ryan Sears\u2019 low ball to equalise on the stroke of half-time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the hosts restored their advantage shortly before the hour mark as an unmarked Ben Wilson headed home from Redmond\u2019s cross at the back post. Caernarfon nearly levelled the scoreline once more through Danny Gosset, but his curling strike rattled the crossbar. TNS saw out the closing stages to earn their sixth straight league victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Craig Harrison\u2019s side are now 15 points clear at the top of the table after second-place Connah\u2019s Quay Nomads saw their 17-match unbeaten run in the league come to an end with a 1-0 defeat to Barry Town United at Jenner Park on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decisive moment arrived with 90 minutes on the clock as Mikey George\u2019s cross from the right hand side found an unmarked Ollie Hulbert, who headed home from inside the six-yard box to give his side back-to-back league wins for the first time this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nomads host TNS in their next league fixture, with the Saints able to secure the JD Cymru Premier title if they take all three points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colwyn Bay climbed up to fourth in the table with a 3-1 victory over Penybont at the Blue Turtle Arena on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louis Robles came close to giving Bay the lead when his looping header from Ethan Roberts\u2019 cross struck the crossbar, but the Seagulls did not have to wait much longer for the breakthrough as Penybont goalkeeper Luke Armstrong punched George Hughes\u2019 corner into his own net in the 34th<\/sup> minute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ryan Astles thought he had doubled Bay\u2019s advantage shortly before half-time when firing in from Robles\u2019 lay-off, but the goal was ruled out for offside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bont equalised eight minutes into the second period as half-time substitute Noah Daley retrieved the loose ball from Clayton Green\u2019s scuffed effort and fired into the far corner from close range. However, Bay were back in front just two minutes later as Astles prodded in from Hughes\u2019 corner for his second goal in as many games since joining the club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bont\u2019s hopes of finding another equaliser were dashed when defender Nathaniel Williams was shown a straight red card for his late challenge on Robles. Bay talisman Jordan Davies came off the bench and fired into the roof of the net from close range on 86 minutes to wrap up his side\u2019s first home win since November \u2013 also against Penybont. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Briton Ferry Llansawel moved eight points clear of the relegation zone with a 2-1 victory over Bala Town at The Renewable Centre Stadium in Saturday\u2019s early kick-off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferry took the lead in the 55th<\/sup> minute as Kian Jenkins\u2019 cross ricocheted around in the area before falling to Tom Walters, who unleashed a powerful volley and found the roof of the net. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ollie Anderson added a second goal the hosts just 12 minutes later when he slid in to meet Walters\u2019 header back across the six-yard box and tapped the ball home from close range for his fifth goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bala substitute Connor Evans gave the Lakesiders a late lifeline when he tapped in from Nelson Digbeu\u2019s header down towards the back post, but Ferry held on to secure all three points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bala are now five points adrift of safety as Jake Canavan scored a stoppage time equaliser to salvage a point for 10th<\/sup>-place Flint Town United in a 1-1 draw with Cardiff Met at the Essity Stadium on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides had their fair share of chances in the first half, with Flint forward Darren Stephenson going closest as his header from Sidi Fofana\u2019s cross was denied by the crossbar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Met took the lead in the 70th minute thanks to Matt Chubb, who tucked away the rebound from Ryan Reynolds\u2019 saved free-kick. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, there was late drama as Jake Canavan\u2019s strike from the edge of the area deflected off CJ Craven and found a way past Ewan Griffiths in the sixth minute of stoppage time. Lee Fowler\u2019s side remain unbeaten in Phase Two so far, while Met drop down to ninth in the table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
