Llandudno moved five points clear at the top of the JD Cymru North with a 4-0 victory over Denbigh Town at the Go Goodwins Stadium on Friday night. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nick Grogan scored for the third time in four league games with a powerful finish into the net from a tight angle to give Llandudno the lead after just four minutes. Grogan nearly had a brace midway through the first half, but his header was tipped onto the crossbar by Ollie Farebrother. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the Seasiders eventually extended their advantage and opened up a three-goal cushion by half-time as Tom Stephens headed home from Anthony Stephens\u2019 corner before Aidan Higgins produced a clinical strike for his seventh league goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Substitute Marc Williams wrapped up an impressive display late on, just eight minutes after he was introduced, as he brought down Joe Carey\u2019s cross and squeezed the ball beyond Farebrother. Jordan Hadaway\u2019s side have now won their last four league matches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third-place Holywell Town boosted their promotion hopes after Ryan Edwards scored a dramatic stoppage time winner to secure a 2-1 victory over Buckley Town at The Globe on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bucks were gifted the lead when Holywell defender Ieuan Hewitt turned the ball into his own net on 33 minutes, but the visitors were level five minutes into the second half Craig Lindfield met Jack Sconce\u2019s free-kick and sent a towering header beyond Seb Osment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holywell were reduced to 10 men in the closing stages as Ryan Austin was shown a straight red card for bringing down Max Moore when the Buckley forward was through on goal. However, the Wellmen still snatched victory in the eighth minute of stoppage time when Edwards met a loose ball and drilled home into the bottom corner to bag his first goal since August 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gresford Athletic moved five points clear of the relegation zone with an impressive 3-0 win over Flint Mountain at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All three of Gresford\u2019s goals arrived inside the opening 31 minutes as Haci Ozlu netted a brace either side of Adam Hesp\u2019s first league goal in almost a year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fiery altercation late on led to straight red cards for Mountain forward Rian O\u2019Riordan and Gresford duo Reagan Nicholas and Caelan McGovern, but the home side saw out the remainder of the match to earn a crucial victory and make it three consecutive home wins for the first time since October 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newtown ended their six-match winless run in the league with a 2-0 triumph over Guilsfield at Latham Park on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Robins enjoyed a dream start and scored both goals within the opening seven minutes of the contest as Jamie Hyne tapped home from Zak Kempster-Down\u2019s cross at the back post before Devon Torry calmly slotted past Luke Evans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A goal line clearance from Jolyon Harries ensured the hosts kept their first league clean sheet since October, while Guilsfield\u2019s woes increased late in the day as Sean Griffiths was sent off for a second bookable offence. Victory strengthened Newtown\u2019s position in fourth-place, but they remain 11 points adrift of the promotion spots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rhyl 1879 moved up to sixth-place with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Mold Alexandra at Alyn Park on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rhyl were reduced to 10 men on the stroke of half-time after Jack Parry was shown a straight red card for a foul on Mold goalkeeper Joe Smith. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smith made a stunning fingertip save to deny Rocco Hewitt\u2019s strike from distance just after the hour mark, but the Lilywhites found the breakthrough from the resulting corner as Ben Lightfoot\u2019s delivery sailed beyond Smith and crept over the line. Despite being a man down, Paul Moore\u2019s side survived to claim their third win in four league matches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holyhead Hotspur were victorious for the first time in 2026 as Darren Garmey\u2019s side secured a 3-0 win over Brickfield Rangers at The New Stadium on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holyhead opened the scoring after just six minutes played as Cory Williams bagged his fifth goal of the season. Craig Whelan and Connor Owen also added their names to the scoresheet in the second half to round off a convincing display from the hosts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holyhead are now up to 10th<\/sup> in the table, while it was a fifth consecutive defeat for Brickfield who sit just two points above the relegation zone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
