Llandudno maintained their five-point lead at the top of the JD Cymru North with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Penrhyncoch at Cae Baker on Saturday. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llandudno were gifted the lead in the 15th<\/sup> minute as Penrhyncoch defender Rhydian Davies touched the ball past his own goalkeeper Leigh Jenkins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adam Stephens scored his first goal since New Year\u2019s Day to double Llandudno\u2019s advantage before Iwan Cartwright added a third goal on the stroke of half-time with a header from a corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan Owen scored for the second game in a row to pull a goal back for the Roosters six minutes after the restart before Adam Stephens was shown a straight red card, reducing the Seasiders to 10 men. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Garin Evans opened his account for Penrhyncoch in the 85th<\/sup> minute to set up a nervy finish for Llandudno, but the league leaders held on to make it six straight league wins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second-place Airbus UK Broughton also continued their stellar form with a 3-0 win over Buckley Town at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus opened the scoring in first half stoppage time as Blaine Hudson brought the ball down from Jordan Evans\u2019 corner at the back post and crossed into the six-yard box, where captain Joe Palmer tapped home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evans doubled the lead in style on 64 minutes as the forward received Nathan Williams\u2019 pass, cut inside onto his favoured left foot and produced a sweetly-struck effort into the top corner from the edge of the area for his fifth goal in his five games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wingmakers continued to show their quality in front of goal and made it three just five minutes later as Evans\u2019 cross found an unmarked George Peers, who drilled his shot into the roof of the net for his 19th<\/sup> league goal of the season. Mark Allen\u2019s side have now won their last 10 matches in all competitions, conceding just four goals during that time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holywell Town strengthened their place in the promotion spots with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Denbigh Town at Bartons North Wales Stadium on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wellmen made a lightning start to the contest and opened up a three-goal cushion after just seven minutes as Ryan Edwards fired home from distance before Jake Cooke headed in from Jack Sconce\u2019s cross and Craig Lindfield tapped into the net from close range. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooke made it a brace five minutes before half-time to give the hosts even more comfort as the attacker received Edwards\u2019 through ball and slotted past Ollie Farebrother when one-on-one with the Denbigh goalkeeper.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamie Breese sent a fierce drive beyond Farebrother to bag his 19th<\/sup> league goal of the season and add Holywell\u2019s fifth on 79 minutes. Denbigh forward Nathan Brown then struck the crossbar with his free-kick from the edge of the area, but the visitors did eventually grab a consolation as Alfie Vaughan latched onto Owen Davies\u2019 ball over the top and lobbed Tyler French. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Damase Kiwanda scored a late winner as Rhyl 1879 climbed up to fifth place with a 3-2 win over bottom-of-the-table Ruthin Town at the Hops and Barley Community Stadium on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a frantic start to the contest as Ruthin\u2019s Danny Holland scored from the penalty spot with just three minutes played before Sam Duffy levelled the scoreline on 15 minutes with a clinical finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holland dispatched another penalty to immediately restore Ruthin\u2019s lead, but Rhyl\u2019s pressure eventually paid off as talisman Archie Jones made it two apiece just eight minutes into the second half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seemed that the two sides would claim a point each, which would have been enough to see Ruthin move off the bottom of the table, but substitute Kiwanda, who had only been on the pitch for seven minutes, netted in the 86th<\/sup> minute to give Rhyl back-to-back wins ahead of their JD Welsh Cup semi-final clash against Caernarfon Town next Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brickfield Rangers moved five points clear of the relegation zone with a 3-1 victory over Caersws at Clywedog Park on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andy Vale\u2019s fifth league goal of the season put Brickfield ahead in the 28th<\/sup> minute before Rhys Hesden levelled the scoreline for Caersws just two minutes into the second half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bluebirds almost held on to make it seven league games unbeaten, but Jack Edwards and Jay Richardson both found the net late in the day to give Brickfield a crucial three points in the fight for survival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gresford Athletic picked up their fourth successive home win as Haci Ozlu\u2019s penalty proved enough to earn a 1-0 win over 10-man Holyhead Hotspur on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ozlu placed his spot-kick into the top corner after just 10 minutes played to give the Colliers an early breakthrough. Holyhead\u2019s hopes of an equaliser were dealt a blow in the 78th<\/sup> minute when Jake Roberts was sent off for a second bookable offence, with Gresford seeing out victory to move up to 10th in the table \u2013 leapfrogging Holyhead in the process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newtown earned back-to-back wins and clean sheets with a narrow 1-0 victory over Flint Mountain at Bastion Gardens on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decisive moment arrived with 24 minutes on the clock as Fin Starkey-Jones ran onto a loose ball and drilled his half-volley into the bottom corner. The Robins saw out the remainder of the match to end their four-match losing run away from home in all competitions. They remain 11 points the promotion places, with two games in hand over third-place Holywell. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mold Alexandra secured their first away win since October with an impressive 2-1 triumph over fifth-place Guilsfield at Clos Mytton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guilsfield thought they had taken the lead inside just 12 minutes when Sam Flory finished from James Smallwood\u2019s low cross, but the goal was ruled out for offside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mold goalkeeper Joe Smith made some key saves for his side as Guilsfield pushed for the opening goal, but despite those chances, it was the Alex who found the breakthrough in the 44th<\/sup> minute as a defensive mix-up from the hosts allowed Owen Cordiner to tap into an empty net. Mold captain Henry Nash then quickly doubled the lead in first half stoppage time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guils\u2019 frustration grew early in the second half when Adam Jenkins\u2019 effort struck the post. Callum Bromley did give the hosts a lifeline when he fired home from a corner in the 89th<\/sup> minute, but Mold held on to move six points clear of the relegation zone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
