JD Cymru Premier – Flint Town United vs Bala Town (Saturday, 12:30pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A crunch clash awaits at the bottom of the JD Cymru Premier as in-form Flint Town United host relegation-threatened Bala Town at the Essity Stadium on Saturday, live on Sgorio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flint are currently unbeaten in Phase Two, with three consecutive wins away to Bala, Llanelli Town and Haverfordwest County helping Lee Fowler\u2019s side move seven points clear of the relegation zone. The Silkmen carried their bright form over to the JD Welsh Cup semi-finals, where a 5-1 victory over third tier Bangor 1876 secured their spot in the final for the first time since 1954. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bala\u2019s top-flight status remains in serious jeopardy as the Lakesiders are currently six points adrift of safety, with 10th-place Cardiff Met also occupying a game in hand. Steve Fisher\u2019s side rued their missed opportunities in a goalless draw with Llanelli in their last outing a fortnight ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides shared the points in a 1-1 draw before Bala stormed to a 4-0 victory in both Phase One meetings. However, Flint gained revenge in January with a thrilling 4-3 triumph at Maes Tegid in the reverse Phase Two fixture. Bala are unbeaten in 12 out of their last 13 visits to Flint in all competitions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus edged past Caersws with a 2-1 triumph last Saturday before storming to a 5-0 victory away to Brickfield Rangers on Tuesday to make it 12 consecutive wins in all competitions. Just one point this Friday will make it impossible for the Wingmakers to finish below fourth-place Newtown, but Mark Allen\u2019s side will still be searching for all three to maintain pressure on league leaders Llanduno. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

George Peers has netted 20 goals in the JD Cymru North and is joint top scorer alongside Jamie Breese of Holywell Town<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Mold head into this fixture after claiming hard-fought wins over Guilsfield (2-1) and Ruthin Town (1-0) – the first time they have earned back-to-back victories this season. The Alex are now a healthy nine points clear of the relegation zone, and now go in search of reaching the top half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus secured a 3-1 victory over Mold in the Welsh Blood Service League Cup in August before George Peers cancelled out Harvey Morris\u2019 opener in a 1-1 draw between the two teams in November\u2019s first league meeting. Mold are one of only five teams to take points off Airbus this season and are the only team outside of the current top half to do so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru North \u2013 Ruthin Town vs Flint Mountain<\/strong> (Friday, 7:45pm)<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key points are up for grabs at the bottom of the JD Cymru North as bottom-of-the-table Ruthin Town host 14th-place Flint Mountain at the Memorial Playing Fields on Friday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruthin\u2019s relegation fears worsened with a late 1-0 loss to Mold Alexandra last Saturday – their third consecutive defeat. Colin Caton\u2019s side are three points adrift of safety and have played the most matches over anyone else in the division, so they will be hoping to earn some important points throughout the next month, especially with four out of their last five matches coming on home soil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruthin Town’s last home victory at the Memorial Playing Fields was in a 3-1 win over Denbigh on Boxing Day<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Mountain are six points clear of the relegation zone and have one game in hand on Ruthin, but Friday\u2019s visitors suffered their fourth consecutive loss in a 1-0 defeat to Rhyl 1879 on Tuesday and have won just twice away from home in the past year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jonny O\u2019Sullivan scored a brace as Mountain claimed a 2-0 win over Ruthin in September\u2019s reverse league fixture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ammanford aim to push towards the JD Cymru South top three when they travel to face in-form Llantwit Major at the UWL Stadium on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ammanford returned to winning ways with a dramatic 2-1 win over Cardiff Draconians last weekend, sealed by Alex Giardelli\u2019s late penalty. Saturday\u2019s visitors dropped down to fourth in the table following Caerau Ely\u2019s win over Treowen Stars on Tuesday, but Wyn Thomas\u2019 side still have a game in hand on their fellow promotion hopefuls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Major have won four out of their last five league games, with the only loss during that time coming against league leaders Trefelin. Karl Lewis\u2019 side triumphed 3-1 away to bottom side Cwmbran Celtic on Tuesday to move up to seventh in the table and a goal for Jack Bevan in that match means he currently has five goals in his last five games.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
