Mold Alexandra secured a top half spot in the JD Cymru North with a 2-1 win over Brickfield Rangers at Alyn Park on Saturday.\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brickfield took the lead inside just 12 minutes as Andy Vale received Alex Darlington\u2019s through ball and slotted home, but Mold were level just two minutes into the second half as Rhys Nash struck a low shot past Robbie Williams from the edge of the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mold completed their comeback in the 84th<\/sup> minute as Colwyn Bay loanee Max McGoona retrieved a loose ball from a long throw and sent a powerful effort beyond Williams to give the hosts their fourth consecutive league victory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Champions Llandudno earned their 12th<\/sup> consecutive league win with a 2-1 victory over Newtown at Latham Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harvey Bennett, who was making his first competitive start since October following a lengthy injury, headed home the opening goal for Llandudno in the 12th minute before Ben Maher doubled the lead on the hour mark with his second league goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newtown talisman Jamie Hyne gave the Robins a lifeline with his finish on 75 minutes, but Llandudno held on to claim all three points. The Seasiders can equal the highest ever points tally in the JD Cymru North (83 – achieved by Colwyn Bay in 2022\/23) if they win away to Airbus UK Broughton on the final day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam Flory scored a hat-trick as Guilsfield returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Caersws at the PRS Recruitment Stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flory put Guilsfield ahead with a clinical finish on the edge of the area before he doubled his and the hosts\u2019 tally three minutes later by heading in at the back post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ashley Jones halved the deficit for Caersws as he ran onto Craig Harris\u2019 flick-on and slid the ball beyond Luke Evans, but the Guils restored their two-goal cushion four minutes before half-time through Ryan Knott. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flory completed his hat-trick early in the second half with a calmly converted penalty to ultimately put the game to bed. Gavin Allen\u2019s side saw out the remainder of the match to fully confirm their spot in the top half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penrhyncoch climbed up to 11th<\/sup>\u00a0in the table with an impressive 4-1 win over Gresford Athletic at Cae Baker.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides made a fast start as James Smith put Gresford ahead in the seventh minute, only for Rhydian Davies to cancel that opener out 10 minutes later and bring Penrhyncoch level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Roosters took control of the contest in the second half with John James and Dan Owen scoring from Niall Coleridge\u2019s crosses to make it three by the hour mark. Teenager Gethin Williams-Evans came off the bench and scored his first ever goal for Penrhyncoch to seal back-to-back wins for Gari Lewis\u2019 side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cwmbran Celtic finally claimed their first win of the JD Cymru South campaign with a 3-1 victory over Aberystwyth Town at Avondale Park on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Celtic, who are already relegated from the division, took the lead in bizarre fashion in the 14th minute as Sam Powell\u2019s long ball from inside his own half flew over the Aberystwyth defence, including goalkeeper La\u2019trell Jones, who was unable to keep the ball out of the net. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex McDowell and Isaac Powell both finished clinically to put Celtic in a commanding position with 10 minutes remaining. Tom Mason\u2019s low finish from Piers Juliff\u2019s cross got Aberystwyth on the scoresheet late on, but it only proved to be a consolation as Celtic ended their 364 day wait for a league win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiff Draconians moved back into the top half following a 2-2 draw against Pontypridd United at Lydstep Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pontypridd took the lead on the half-hour mark as Taylor Marsh cut inside and sent a powerful drive past Harry Johnson. However, Dracs substitute Haben Samson equalised for his side in the 58th minute – just two minutes after he was brought onto the pitch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eli Phipps quickly restored Ponty\u2018s lead with a composed finish from close range, but once again the Dracs pulled level through Efu Kazadi curled home into the far corner for his first competitive goal since January 2025. Dropped points for Pontypridd brings their hopes of finishing in the top half to an end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
