Cambrian United secured their first ever Novira Cymru Premier win with a 1-0 victory over Flint Town United at the M&P Group 3G on Friday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flint had a glorious opportunity to open the scoring in the first half when Joe Malkin played in Tunde Owolabi, but the Belgian was denied by Cambrian goalkeeper Kelland Absalom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danny Hillman struck the post from close range for the hosts, while Malkin forced a key diving save from Absalom as both sides continued to have their fair share of chances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The breakthrough eventually arrived with seven minutes of normal time remaining as Owolabi brought down Cambrian debutant Jack Karadogan inside the area, allowing talisman Liam Eason to slot his side ahead from the penalty spot. Absalom made a stunning save to deny Ben Hughes from the edge of the area and ensure the Cam Army earned a memorable three points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Simatupang-Ferguson scored a hat-trick Connah\u2019s Quay Nomads earned back-to-back wins with an emphatic 6-0 win over Trefelin at the Essity Stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simatupang-Ferguson opened his account for the club by tapping home the rebound from Mikey Stone\u2019s saved low cross to give the Nomads an early lead. The Indonesian international then turned provider for Hussein Mehasseb, who controlled well and fired into the bottom corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trefelin clipped the crossbar early in the second half in what would have been a bizarre deflected goal, but the Nomads put that mini scare behind them and showed their firepower once more as Callum West\u2019s square ball into Mehasseb allowed the Egyptian forward to clinically bag his brace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simatupang-Ferguson grabbed his second of the evening after producing a sweetly-struck volley into the top corner before he completed his hat-trick with a calmly converted penalty following Scott Coughlin\u2019s foul on West inside the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry Franklin capped off a convincing display from John Disney\u2019s side in stoppage-time as the forward headed home from West\u2019s floated cross – Franklin\u2019s second goal and West\u2019s fourth assist of the season already. The result was also the Nomads\u2019 biggest league win since December 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llandudno maintained their perfect start to the campaign with a dramatic 3-1 win over Holywell Town at the Go Goodwins Stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holywell duo Florian Yonsian and Ryan Edwards both hit the post inside the first eight minutes of the contest, but it was Llandudno who took the lead on the half-hour mark as Kieran Smith\u2019s low driven shot from the edge of the area crept past Alex Swindell at the near post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holywell quickly pulled themselves level as Mark Winslade latched onto Yonsian\u2019s hooked ball and slotted beneath Joel Torrance when one-on-one with the Llandudno goalkeeper. However, the Wellmen would have to play the second half with 10 men as captain Danny Sullivan was shown a straight red card for a dangerous challenge on Mark Cadwallader in first half stoppage-time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seasiders threatened for the majority of the second period with the numerical advantage in their favour. Cadwallader struck the crossbar in the 86th minute as frustration grew for the hosts, but the veteran forward came up clutch for his side as Iwan Cartwright knocked the ball down for the substitute, who fired beyond Swindell from close range, repeating his late heroics from Llandudno\u2019s opening day win against Flint Town United. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jordan Hadaway\u2019s side sealed the deal deep into stoppage-time as Holywell\u2019s Iwan Hewitt tried to acrobatically clear Leon Hughes\u2019 delivery across goal, but could only divert the ball into his own net.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 1,300 fans watched on as Caernarfon Town earned their first win back at their renovated Oval with a 3-0 triumph against Colwyn Bay. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danny Gosset put Caernarfon ahead in the 27th minute as Bay failed to clear the ball, allowing Gosset to intercept, drive into the area and send a composed finish into the bottom corner. The Caernarfon captain was the subject of a VAR check for a potential red card after his challenge on Josh Williams, but the on-field decision of a yellow card stood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gosset set up Caernarfon\u2019s second goal on 65 minutes as his short pass was received by Zack Clarke, who scored for the third consecutive weekend with a clinical first-time effort past Mark Halstead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cofis put the result beyond doubt eight minutes later as Jake Canavan spread the play out to Adrian Cieslewicz, who cut inside and fired home at the near post, leaving Halstead standing still. Caernarfon have now won the last four matches against their fierce rivals Colwyn Bay, keeping clean sheets in the last three. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penybont made another statement as Rhys Griffiths\u2019 side stormed to a 3-0 victory over Haverfordwest County at the Dynamite Bridge Meadow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bont opened the scoring with 31 minutes on the clock as Max Melbourne met Nathan Wood\u2019s cross and guided his header into the bottom corner for his first goal for the club. Haverfordwest had a great chance to score an instant equaliser, but Ben Ahmun could only steer the ball wide from three yards out when meeting Jack Wilson\u2019s low cross. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That missed chance proved costly as Wood doubled Bont\u2019s advantage on the stroke of half time as Haverfordwest goalkeeper Ifan Knott spilled Ethan Cann\u2019s shot, allowing Wood to finish a simple rebound. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noah Daley wrapped things up for the visitors late on as he received a through ball from fellow substitute Tyler Walker and confidently fired into the roof of the net for his first goal since February. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barry Town United made it three wins from three matches as Dan Smith\u2019s late goal secured a 1-0 win over Cardiff Met at Jenner Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Met had two glorious opportunities through Fumpa Mwandwe and Toby Raison, but neither player could test Barry goalkeeper George Ratcliffe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The turning point came with just 10 minutes remaining as Barry substitute Dan Barton was fouled by Mwandwe inside the area, resulting in a penalty. Jack Shaw\u2019s spot kick was saved well by Arron Davies, but the ball eventually looped up kindly for Smith, who headed into the roof of the net from just two yards out to give Steve Jenkins\u2019 side yet another late victory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus UK Broughton continued their bright start to the campaign with a 2-0 win over fellow newly-promoted side Ammanford at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ammanford goalkeeper Luke Martin made some impressive early saves, but he was unable to keep out Jordan Evans\u2019 wonderful curling strike from distance as Airbus took the lead on 11 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

George Peers thought he had doubled the home side\u2019s lead, but he was deemed offside when finishing from close range, while Matt Delaney came agonisingly close to pulling Ammanford level when his thunderous strike rattled the crossbar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus were handed the chance to put the game to bed in the 83rd minute as Callum Shirt\u2019s foul on James Hughes inside the area resulted in a penalty. Peers stepped up and although his initial spot kick was saved by Martin, the ball fell kindly back out to the forward, who made no mistake finding the net from the rebound to bag his first goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wingmakers now have as many wins in the opening three games of this season (two) as they did in their previous 50 top-flight matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Saints maintained their unbeaten start as Dan Williams\u2019 second half strike proved enough to seal a narrow 1-0 win over Briton Ferry Llansawel at Park Hall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decisive moment in Oswestry arrived in the 62nd minute as Jack Bodenham played a long ball over the top to Williams, who raced through on goal and slotted into the bottom corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saints goalkeeper Nathan Shepperd made a vital save to deny Tom Walters at the back post in stoppage-time to ensure champions TNS earned their second straight win and remain the only team in the league yet to concede a single goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
