The JD Cymru Premier and JD Cymru South league seasons come to a close this weekend, while plenty could be decided in the JD Cymru North too. Here are the key games to watch. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru Premier \u2013 Aberystwyth Town v Pontypridd United (Sunday, 2:15pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Pontypridd United received news that they were unsuccessful in their appeal of the refusal of their tier one licence, just one relegation spot remains in the JD Cymru Premier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dragons will still play a part in deciding who goes down on the final day as they travel to Aberystwyth Town, who currently sit two points above the drop zone. A win for Aber will keep them up, but if they drop points the door will open for Colwyn Bay who would then need to beat Barry Town United at home to survive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While that places the Seasiders as favourites to avoid relegation, they have won only two league games at Park Avenue this season and have picked up just one point from their last three matches there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anthony Williams\u2019 side came close to securing a crucial point away at Barry last weekend but conceded an 83rd<\/sup>-minute goal to lose 2-1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pontypridd started phase two with three wins and two draws in their first five matches, but they are now winless in their last four games and have not scored in that time either. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dragons are unbeaten against Aber this season, winning both games in phase one and their Nathaniel MG Cup round three meeting before a goalless draw at USW Sports Park last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru Premier \u2013 Penybont v Haverfordwest County (Sunday, 2:15pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final play-off spot is also to be decided on the final day, with the two contenders Penybont and Haverfordwest County going head-to-head at the SDM Glass Stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A win for Haverfordwest or a draw would see the Bluebirds secure seventh place, but Penybont would claim the coveted position with a win of their own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bont have been the standout performers in the bottom half in phase two, winning five of their nine matches and losing just one. They head into the final day having picked up 13 points from the last 15 available, but they have won just twice at home since September. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haverfordwest failed to win any of their first five matches In phase two, but they have now earned four consecutive wins to maintain top spot in the Play Off Conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides traded blows in phase one with Penybont winning 2-0 in August before Haverfordwest\u2019s first half blitz saw them prevail 3-2 victors in October. Lewys Ware\u2019s early strike was enough to give Bont a narrow 1-0 victory in phase two\u2019s reverse fixture.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru North \u2013 Porthmadog v Holywell Town (Friday, 7:30pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is plenty to play for at both ends of the table in the JD Cymru North on Friday night, with Porthmadog and Holywell potentially both needing points at Y Traeth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Port currently sit outside of the relegation zone on goal different only and will stay up if they equal or better Prestatyn Town\u2019s result away at Gresford Athletic.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve Williams\u2019 side earned a potentially crucial 1-1 draw in their last outing away at Chirk AAA, but they are winless in their last five matches and have not won at home since November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Holywell will clinch the JD Cymru North title on Friday if they better Flint Town United\u2019s result away at Denbigh Town. They have a game in hand over the Silkmen after their midweek fixture against Llanidloes Town was abandoned due to a medical emergency, so could still claim the trophy next week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnny Haseldin\u2019s men have set the division alight this season and are unbeaten in their last 16 league matches, winning 15 of those. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reverse fixture between these two sides came on the opening day of the season when James Graham\u2019s first half strike secured a narrow 1-0 victory for Holywell at the Achieve More Stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru South \u2013 Baglan Dragons v Pontardawe Town (Saturday, 2:30pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pontardawe Town\u2019s survival hopes are hanging by a thread ahead of their trip to Baglan Dragons on the final day of the JD Cymru South season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 3-0 loss to Cambrian & Clydach Vale in midweek left Ponty three points adrift of safety, meaning that to stay up they must win against the Dragons and hope that 13th-<\/sup>place Llantwit Major lose away at Carmarthen Town \u2013 with a six-goal swing needed in the two games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Garry Taylor\u2019s side have slid down the table after winning just twice since the turn of the year and are they without a victory in their last five matches.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been an impressive first season in the JD Cymru South for Baglan Dragons after promotion from the Ardal South West last year and they will confirm a top half finish if they win on Saturday and Goytre United drop points away at Cwmbran Celtic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom Davies\u2019 double secured a 2-1 win for Carl Clement\u2019s side in July\u2019s reverse league fixture on the opening weekend. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
