Voting is now open for the 2023\/24 JD Cymru North awards. You have until 5pm on Monday 20 May to select your Player of the Season, Manager of the Season and Young Player of the Season.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Votes will be combined with an independent panel and the winners will be announced at the FAW National Leagues Awards on Saturday 8 June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Player of the Season<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Jake Cooke – Holywell Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holywell Town went one better this season, as they got their hands on the JD Cymru North title, and a big reason for that has been the form of Jake Cooke. With 17 goals in 26 games, Cooke\u2019s form has helped see off some very experienced sides. Last minute winners, hat-tricks, calm finishes, you name it, and Cooke has done it this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elliott Reeves – Flint Town United<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where would Flint Town United be without Elliot Reeves? A staggering 30 goals in 29 games has helped the Silkmen to a second-place finish and promotion, but Reeves put in so many memorable performances. Four goals against Mold Alexandra, a hat-trick against Llanidloes Town, a last-minute winner in the league opener against Prestatyn Town, it\u2019s been a great debut season at the Essity Stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danny Warren – Mold Alexandra<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danny Warren is the definition of a Swiss army knife, a man who can do a bit of everything in this Mold Alexandra team. With 16 goals and 11 assists this season, Warren has been the man for every occasion. After finishing mid-table last season, Mold have really gone up a level this year, and Warren has been a big part of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manager of the Season<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Jordan Hadaway – Llandudno<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the start of the season, Llandudno didn\u2019t have a first team and didn\u2019t have a ground to play in. Fast forward a couple of months later, and Jordan Hadaway has led the Seasiders to safety, and more importantly, they are back playing at the OPS Wind Arena. It\u2019s a remarkable achievement for a team that looked destined for relegation in the opening weeks of the campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnny Haseldin – Holywell Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s been an amazing season for the Wellmen, and at the helm for it all has been Johnny Haseldin. Holywell only dropped nine points all season, with their only defeat coming to Airbus. They ended the season magnificently, as they won 18 of their final 19 games, as they strode their way to the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mike Johnston – Bangor 1876<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bangor 1876 sealed their return to the second-tier last season, and they finished their first season back in the JD Cymru North in fifth, and manager Mike Johnston certainly played a huge part in that. Two derby wins over Porthmadog and a victory over Mold Alexandra will certainly be games that Johnston looks back on fondly this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young Player of the Season<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Luis Lacey – Flint Town United<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Playing out on the wing, Luis Lacey has been such a consistent performer for Flint Town United. He has made the left side his own this season and has contributed four goals and five assists this season. His double against Llandudno will be a standout moment for the youngster in particular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sol Forde – Flint Town United<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another Flint talent who has had a stellar season has been Sol Forde. The Silkmen had the third meanest defence in the Cymru North, and the likes of Forde really stood tall across the season. A run of four clean sheets in six towards showed just what the likes of Forde could do. He is a goalscoring threat too, you only need to see his brace against Prestatyn Town to know that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Josh Lock – Denbigh Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s been a great campaign for Denbigh Town\u2019s Josh Lock, on loan from The New Saints. He has played double the number of games that he did last year and has also doubled the number of league goals that he\u2019s scored (10). Add five assists into the mix as well, and it\u2019s been a great campaign for Lock.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
