Afan Lido staged a second half comeback to earn a 3-3 draw with Carmarthen Town at Princess Margaret Way on Friday night. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carmarthen raced into a 2-0 lead inside 23 minutes thanks to Gavin Jones\u2019 strike and Noah Daley\u2019s penalty, while Toby Jones added a third goal in first half stoppage time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Lido got back in the game within the opening 16 minutes of the second half as Liam Thomas and Connah Troy found the net in quick succession. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hosts\u2019 equaliser came with five minutes remaining when Chris Jones picked out the top corner with a free-kick from 20 yards out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llantwit Major extended their unbeaten run in the JD Cymru South to six matches with a 1-1 draw away to current league leaders Trethomas Bluebirds on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Major took the lead with 21 minutes on the clock as Tom Tweedy finished off a swift breakaway for his fourth goal in three games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, their advantage lasted just five minutes as Bluebirds forward Dave Vincent headed home the equaliser from close range. The hosts had the better opportunities in the second half, but were forced to settle a point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dropped points for the Bluebirds allowed second-place Cambrian United to close the gap at the top to just one point with an emphatic 5-0 victory at home to Cwmbran Celtic on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack Fox gave the Cam Army a dream start after just four minutes as his dipping strike from the edge of the area flew in off the underside of the crossbar, while Liam Warman doubled the lead seven minutes later with his second goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dave Thomas made it three from the penalty spot early in the second half, while Fox netted his second of the afternoon in the 76th<\/sup> minute. Victory was rounded off seven minutes from time as Tom Hillman added his name to the scoresheet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penrhiwceiber Rangers\u2019 resurgence continued as they moved off the bottom of the table with a 2-1 comeback win away at Baglan Dragons on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dragons found the breakthrough courtesy of Jay Thomas in the 23rd<\/sup> minute, but Brandon Davies popped up with an important equaliser for Rangers shortly before the break. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides were reduced to 10 men just after the hour mark as Joe Jenkins and Lewis Holmes were dismissed following an altercation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decisive moment came in the 77th<\/sup> minute when Scott Lewis set up Davies for his second of the match, which secured back-to-back wins for Rangers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ammanford climbed out of the relegation zone with an emphatic 3-0 home win over Taffs Well on Friday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a goalless first half, the opener goal arrived just six minutes into the second period as Callum Thomas slotted beyond Shaun Gardiner to give Ammanford the lead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas turned provider for his side\u2019s second goal in the 69th<\/sup> minute as his accurate through ball was latched onto by Rhys Davies, who produced a neat finish into the bottom corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harrison Lewis wrapped things up two minutes from time as he headed home for his first Ammanford goal since arriving from Cwmbran Celtic in the summer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus\u2019 defeat in the JD Cymru North means that Llanelli Town are now the only unbeaten side left in the top two tiers, but they left it late to salvage a 1-1 draw away at Trefelin on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tref took the lead after 29 minutes through former Reds striker Lee Trundle, who netted his sixth league goal of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Alex Giardelli came off the Llanelli bench in the 82nd<\/sup> minute and found an equaliser just three minutes later with a neat finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goytre United suffered consecutive losses in the JD Cymru South for the first time in over a year as they were beaten 2-0 by Caerau Ely at Glenhafod Park Stadium on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The breakthrough came inside the first minute of the second half when Brandon Griffiths sent a composed finish beyond Lucas Cavalcante. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Griffiths\u2019 goal remained the difference until stoppage time, when Young Guns substitute Haben Samson struck to ensure his side went home with all three points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pontypridd United earned a first win in four matches as Jarrad Wright\u2019s second-half goal secured a narrow 1-0 victory away to Newport City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides had their fair share of chances, but it was Ponty captain Wright who popped up in the 78th<\/sup> minute to give the Dragons a hard-fought win and their first clean sheet away from home this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
