The shortlist for the September Player and Manager of the Month awards in the JD Cymru Leagues has been confirmed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fans\u2019 vote<\/a> will be combined with a league and independent voting panel to determine the winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

JD<\/strong> Cymru Premier <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Manager of the Month<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Richard Davies – Caernarfon Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite starting the month with a defeat at Penybont, Caernarfon Town turned September around with three victories and a draw, including an impressive 3-1 win over Connah’s Quay Nomads live on Sgorio last weekend. With just one win before the middle of the month, the Cofis now head into October in fine form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rhys Griffiths – Penybont<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The early pacesetters in the JD Cymru Premier, Penybont made headlines during September with a shock victory over champions The New Saints. Although points were surprisingly dropped against Briton Ferry Llansawel a few days later, Penybont have taken an impressive 12 points from a possible 15 to stay top of the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve Jenkins – Barry Town United<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Barry Town United went into September with just one win to their name, but delivered with two wins and two draws during the past month. A 2-1 victory over Connah’s Quay Nomads was the pick of the results for Steve Jenkins’ side who now head into October without a defeat in three games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Player of the Month<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Sion Bradley – The New Saints<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite having limited opportunities in the Saints’ European run, Sion Bradley has continued the excellent form that prompted his move to Park Hall from Caernarfon Town in the JD Cymru Premier with three goals and three assists for the side in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ollie Hulbert – Barry Town United<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scorer of both goals as Barry Town United started September with a 2-1 win against Connah’s Quay Nomads, 22-year old Ollie Hulbert has established himself as a key player in Steve Jenkins’ side with four goals this month, including the only goal of the game against Aberystwyth Town last weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paulo Mendes – Caernarfon Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former Bala Town favourite has been in fine form for Caernarfon Town over the last couple of weeks, scoring in both victories over Flint Town United and Connah’s Quay Nomads. The 31-year old is now in his second spell at the club having previously played for the Cofis in the 2020\/21 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kane Owen \u2013 Penybont<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club captain continues to play a key role in everything that Penybont have achieved over the last few years. Owen played four JD Cymru Premier games for the club during September and won them all, a run headlined by the 2-1 win over The New Saints. Owen missed the defeat to Briton Ferry Llansawel through injury, but returned last weekend for the 1-0 win away to Flint Town United.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru North <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Manager of the Month<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Johnny Haseldin – Holywell Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current champions of the JD Cymru North claimed victories over Bangor 1876 and Penryncoch during September and sit just two points behind Colwyn Bay who are currently in second place. Johnny Haseldin has a long history with the club and will not let last season’s trophy distract from this season’s ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barry Owen – Mold Alexandra<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mold Alexandra made it three wins from three in the JD Cymru North during September with victories over Caersws, Ruthin Town and Guilsfield. Like champions Holywell Town, Barry Owen’s side are keeping pace with the leading two clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael Wilde – Colwyn Bay<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As one of the most dangerous strikers in the history of the domestic game, Michael Wilde will be delighted with the form of his Colwyn Bay side in September as they scored 14 goals in just three games. Victories over Penryncoch, Denbigh Town were followed by the Bay scoring six against league leaders Airbus UK Broughton last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Player of the Month<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Harvey Bennett – Llandudno<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The teenager has been in good form during September, scoring in all three JD Cymru North fixtures as Llandudno drew with Guilsfield and Buckley Town either side of a narrow 2-1 defeat to leaders Airbus UK Broughton. Two of the three goals from the 18-year old were scored from the penalty spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Owen Davies – Denbigh Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another teenager finding the back of the net in the JD Cymru North is Owen Davies who also scored three goals during September, including two in the 4-4 draw with Flint Mountain. Davies opened the scoring in the recent 2-0 win over champions Holywell Town with a goal in the first minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Craig Lindfield – Colwyn Bay<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hat-trick hero for Colwyn Bay in the 6-3 top of the table match against Airbus UK Broughton last week, Lindfield has scored six goals in just three league games during September and also contributed an assist to accompany his goal in the 4-0 win over Penryncoch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Henry Nash – Mold Alexandra<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club captain has been leading by example throughout September as Mold Alexandra claimed a maximum nine points from their three games. The side have conceded just one goal during the month and Nash will be looking to lead his side to more success this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JD Cymru South <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Manager of the Month<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Dean Brown – Penrhiwceiber Rangers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Newly-promoted Penrhiwceiber Rangers suffered a string of defeats at the start of the JD Cymru South season, but turned things around in September as Dean Brown’s side claimed valuable victories over Afan Lido and Baglan Dragons in their last two games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben Stait – Llantwit Major<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former JD Cymru South champinos Llantwit Major are undefeated in September as two 1-1 draws took points off Pontypridd United and Trethomas Bluebirds respectively while Ammanford were defeated 1-0 at the Windmill Ground through a goal from Tom Tweedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liam Williams – Cambrian United<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Cambrian United only played two games during September, Liam Williams’ side scored eight goals without reply to claim maximum points with convincing victories over Taffs Well and Cwmbran Celtic. The side are now just a point behind league leaders Trethomas Bluebirds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Player of the Month<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Noah Daley – Carmarthen Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Carmarthen captain has two goals and an assist to his name during September, including a penalty against his former club Afan Lido last weekend in a 3-3 draw. The 22-year old is in his sixth season at the LHP Stadium having signed in January 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cameron Keetch – Cambrian United<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scorer of two goals in the 3-0 win over Taffs Well at the start of the month, Keetch also chipped in with an assist for Liam Warman in the 5-0 win over Cwmbran Celtic last weekend and will be looking to improve on last season’s goal tally of seven as the campaign continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Callum Thomas – Ammanford<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a busy September for 20-year old Callum Thomas as he contributed a goal and an assist in both of Ammanford’s 4-1 and 3-0 victories over Penrhiwceiber Rangers and Taffs Well respectively. He has already matched his goal return for last season before October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom Tweedy – Llantwit Major<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An undefeated September for Llantwit Major was helped by the contribution of Tom Tweedy. The 28-year old scored the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win over Ammanford and then put his side ahead against league leaders Trethomas Bluebirds last weekend before the teams shared the points in a 1-1 draw.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
