Cymru’s opening match at WEURO25 will be at the Allmend Stadion, when they take on the Netherlands. Below you will find information on fan activities, the stadium itself and how to make the most of your time in Lucerne.
The Allmend Stadion is home to FC Luzern and has a capacity of around 16,000.
The Red Wall will be seated behind the goals for the match. Please enter the stadium at the same entrance shown on your ticket. A UEFA volunteer will be able to assist you if you are having trouble finding your entrance.
There will be catering to suit all culinary requirements at the stadium.

Matchday Travel
There are several different ways of getting to the Stadium in Lucerne.
Public transport will be free of charge with a match ticket or hotel transport pass.
Shuttle buses will be taking fans to the stadium from the fanzone on matchday at regular intervals. The buses will take around 10 minutes to arrive and drop fans off directly outside the stadium. The stadium is also accessible via rail, with trains leaving from Lucerne main station to Luzern Allmend/Messe.
Please plan your journeys well in advance, as public transport is due to be extremely busy on matchdays.
Each WEURO25 match will feature a fan walk prior to the match, for this match the fan walk will begin from the fanzone 2 hours before kick off. Click below to learn more about fan walks and activities.
Fan Activities
The fan zone in Lucerne is near the train station at the Europlatz, overlooking the lake – the fanzone will feature activities including music, food and drink and football matches on a small sided pitch. With its capacity of 5,000 the fan zone will be a great location for fans to meet up before making their way to the stadium.
Wales supporters team will play in a match on the fanzone pitch between 12pm and 2pm on matchday.
