The Football Association of Wales is looking for enthusiastic young people aged 11 to 18 to become FAW Youth Ambassadors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youth Ambassadors play an important role in representing the voices of children and young people in football across Wales. As a Youth Ambassador, you will help shape the future of the game by sharing your views, listening to the experiences of others and helping football become more inclusive, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is your opportunity to make sure that children and young people are listened to and have a real say in how football is developed at local, regional and national levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does a Youth Ambassador do<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As a Youth Ambassador, you will act as a link between young people and football decision makers. You will support clubs, leagues and associations to better understand what young people want and need from the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key responsibilities include:<\/strong>
\u2022 Representing the views and experiences of young people in your local community, club, league or association.
\u2022 Attending meetings to advise on decisions that affect children and young people in football.
\u2022 Sharing feedback from your peers to help improve the football experience.
\u2022 Supporting initiatives and events that focus on young people.
\u2022 Helping to make football more inclusive, accessible and safe for everyone.
\u2022 Working alongside club officials and volunteers to ensure young people feel supported, respected and valued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why become a Youth Ambassador<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Becoming a Youth Ambassador is a great way to get involved, have your voice heard and make a real difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Developing valuable skills such as leadership, confidence, teamwork and communication.
\u2022 Gaining experience that can support school work, college applications and future careers.
\u2022 Helping to improve football for children and young people in your community.
\u2022 Receiving recognition for your contribution to Welsh football.
\u2022 Accessing training and development opportunities provided by the FAW, including priority access to apply for the FAW National Youth Conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who can apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We welcome applications from young people aged 11 to 18 who:
\u2022 Are passionate about football, whether you play, coach, referee or are a fan.
\u2022 Want to help improve the game for others.
\u2022 Are willing to share their views and listen to different perspectives.
\u2022 Want to make football more funs, inclusive and welcoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You do not need any previous experience, and full guidance and support will be provided. We want to hear from young people from all backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Support and safeguarding<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The FAW is committed to safeguarding children and young people. Youth Ambassadors will be supported throughout the programme, and all activities will take place in safe, age-appropriate environments. Parents and carers will be kept informed where appropriate and can contact us with any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
