SRtRC Wales are the FAW\u2019s anti-racism educational charity and believe that education is key to challenging racism in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the FARE Network Football People Weeks, SRtRC\u2019s annual fundraiser \u2018Wear Red Day\u2019 takes place on the 16<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;of October and is vital in helping the anti-racism charity raise funds to support SRtRC schools programmes, in addition to raising awareness and educating young people and teachers to embed anti-racism in their establishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FAW understands that whilst there has been some progress made in football, there is more that must be done, which is why the FAW are developing a new Equality, Diversity and Inclusion plan for Welsh Football. Education is vital and alongside SRtRC, a range of educational seminars and resources are being developed for the wider football family.
