The Cardiff City Stadium is accessible on foot and is a 30 minute walk from the city centre.

It is also connected from the city centre by bus and rail, with train links to Cardiff Central Station to local stations, Ninian Park and Grangetown. The Cardiff Bus 95 service will take you to the stadium from Cardiff Bus interchange. 

Please note these services may be extremely busy on match day.

Parking is available to supporters at the Cardiff City Stadium on a first come, first serve basis and costs £10. The car park will shut 1 hour before kick-off or whenever the car park is full.

There are a limited number of accessible bays available at the stadium. Supporters wishing to book accessible bays should call the Cardiff City Stadium ticket office directly on 0845 345 1400. 

Coach parking at the stadium is free of charge providing you have let the stadium know that you are coming; please contact fans@faw.cymru to book a coach space.

Entertainment at the stadium commences from the time that the gates open at 5:45pm and there’s plenty on offer to get you ready for kick off. Check out the information below.

Even if you are a regular visitor to The Cardiff City Stadium, keep in mind that the stadium may operate differently for Welsh internationals and rules may be different from what you are used to.

Large bags won’t be allowed into the stadium, small bags may be permitted but only if they fit under your seat. Please see more information on permitted items here.

Remember that professional cameras and cane umbrellas are not permitted inside the stadium. However, you can bring a small, fully collapsible umbrella.

The Cardiff City Stadium is a smoke free venue. Therefore smoking, e-cigarettes and heat-not-burn tobacco products are not allowed. Smoking areas will open near entry gates at half time. Please be considerate of other fans.

If you’re going to the match, you’ll need to download and use the Cymru Tickets app to get in, unless you’ve specifically requested and paid to receive paper tickets.

The FAW are introducing the Cymru Tickets App for two key reasons:

The Cardiff City Stadium has food and beverage options to suit all diets and culinary requirements. If you have any allergy concerns, please speak to a member of staff at the kiosk.

There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available to supporters, however please note that alcoholic beverages cannot be taken up to your seat or drunk in view of the field of play. This is in accordance with the UK Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985.

Say No to Discrimination

The Football Association of Wales welcomes everyone and we constantly strive to ensure that at our matches there is a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere where all fans can come to enjoy watching football in a safe, secure and welcoming environment and feel that they belong as part of the Red Wall.

While promoting inclusion and diversity within the stadium, we applaud and encourage passionate support. However, we do not tolerate discrimination, abuse, foul and abusive language or anti-social and threatening behaviour. If supporters experience any form of anti-social behaviour, abuse or discrimination inside the stadium please help us to eliminate it and react immediately by reporting any discrimination or abuse by scanning the QR code published across the stadium and on the back of stadium seats and completing the online form or by texting ‘ISSUE’ confirming details of the incident to 07484 070 422.

There is no safe use of pyrotechnics in spectator areas at football events with their use having many health risks and dangers such as loss of sight, limb or digit removal due to their explosive power.

Being in possession of a pyrotechnic device at a football match or attempting to bring such a device into a football stadium, is a criminal offence under the Sporting Events Act 1985. Any person committing such an offence faces an FA Wales ban, probable arrest and a minimum 3-year Football Banning Order.  

Additionally, should persons be identified using pyrotechnics in places of public assembly away from and en route to the stadium, they can be issued with section 34 notices and be instructed to leave the area with details passed to the FAW, Cardiff City Stadium and the authorities. This may result in entry to the stadium being denied.
