January concludes with a packed Sunday schedule in the Genero Adran Leagues. Here are the key games to watch.
Genero Adran Premier – The New Saints v Cardiff City (Sunday, 2pm)
The current top two in the Genero Adran Premier meet at Park Hall on Sunday as The New Saints host Cardiff City.
The Bluebirds moved to the top of the table with a 3-1 win over Barry Town United on Thursday night – two points ahead of TNS, but Shauna Duffy’s side have a game in hand.
The Saints are unbeaten in their last 12 matches in all competitions and staged a dramatic late comeback to triumph 3-2 over Briton Ferry Llansawel in the Genero Adran Trophy semi-final last weekend.
In fact, TNS’ only defeat this season came against Cardiff in September as goals from Lisa Owen and Laura Curnock secured a 2-0 victory for the Bluebirds. Duffy’s team then got revenge with a 1-0 win over City in the Genero Adran Trophy quarter-finals in December.
Genero Adran North – Rhyl 1879 v NFA (Sunday, 2pm)

The bottom two sides in the Genero Adran North meet on Sunday as NFA make the short trip to Belle Vue to face Rhyl 1879.
It comes just a fortnight after the reverse fixture between the two sides, when Rhyl prevailed 2-1 thanks to goals from Rebecca Bannister and Jazmine Mollatt. The Lilywhites have not lost any of their previous eight games against NFA.
NFA followed that defeat with a 6-0 loss at the hands of league leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads last weekend, leaving them bottom of the table with just one point from seven matches so far this season.
Rhyl are three points better off in seventh place, having lost 2-1 away at Flint Town United last weekend. They are level on points with sixth-place Bangor, who travel to Llandudno on Sunday.
Genero Adran South – Cwmbran Celtic v Llanelli Town (Sunday, 2pm)

Genero Adran South leaders Cwmbran Celtic return to action on Sunday as James Kinsella’s side host struggling Llanelli Town.
Celtic – who won 6-1 against Caldicot Town in their most recent league outing – were not in league action last weekend, but maintained their three-point advantage at the top of the table as a result of second-place Pontypridd United’s 1-0 home defeat against Swansea University.
Llanelli continue to search for their first points of the season following six consecutive defeats so far. The Reds took the lead against Cascade last weekend, but ultimately fell to a 2-1 defeat.
The division’s top scorer Jade Crofts scored twice to give Cwmbran Celtic a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture in September, extending their unbeaten run against Llanelli to seven matches.
