Genero Adran Premier

Swansea City have entered the transfer market for the first time this summer, with the addition of two exciting attacking players.

A familiar name at Swansea, 16-year-old attacking midfielder Lily Deacon joins Yzzy Taylor’s side from the FAW Girls Academy. The Cymru youth international could line up alongside her older sister, Aimee Deacon, in the Genero Adran Premier next season.

Making a return to the Genero Adran Leagues is forward Quianna Wheeler. Once a promotion winner with Pontypridd United, the former Cardiff City youngster spent time in England last season with Halifax and Bury, and now makes the move to Swansea City.

New recruit Wheeler recorded six goal contributions in nine appearances during Pontypridd’s 2024/25 promotion campaign

An outgoing at Swansea has seen U19s midfielder Grace John make the move to Genero Adran North side Bangor City 1876, which will see the 18-year-old make her first step into senior football.

Swansea will have a new home ground in the 2026/27 season, after announcing they will play at The ThermaGlaze Ground in the upcoming campaign.

Home of Garden Village AFC, their opening game at The ThermaGlaze Ground will be the opening game of the campaign, live on Sgorio, against Cardiff City.

The Bluebirds have added to their attacking firepower, with the addition of Haile Richards, joining from Portugese side SC Rio Tinto.

Formerly of Elche CF and Villajoyosa CF in Spain, the 22-year-old has previously played in the English pyramid for a number of clubs, becoming a clinical goalscorer.

Richards scored 13 goals in 23 appearances during her latest spell with SC Rio Tinto: 📸 Cardiff City

Richards said on signing in the capital: “I’m so excited to join a big club like Cardiff City. I’ve been training with the squad for the last few weeks and I’ve been welcomed into the group. As a player, I’m a hard working striker who likes to link up with my teammates and score as many goals as I can.

“Playing in this league will be a new experience for me. I’m so excited to get going and play in front of our fans in a Cardiff City shirt.”

More recently, The Bluebirds completed the signing of versatile midfielder Mia Malone, who makes the switch to the Genero Adran Premier from FA Women’s National League side Rugby Borough, having previously played for Leicester City’s U21s.

Former Cardiff City defender Megan Bowen has found a new club ahead of the upcoming campaign, joining Southampton Women’s FC of the English football pyramid, whilst Laura Curnock has joined tier three side Plymouth Argyle.

Cardiff City youngster Paige Parsons is also on the move, with the midfielder remaining in the Genero Adran Premier at Barry Town United.

Parsons was a consistent starter for Cardiff’s U19 side last season

Parsons was one of five signings in recent weeks from James Fishlock. Ruby Medcraft, Summer Kilby, Mollie Murgatroyd have also joined the club, whilst Olivia Barnett makes a return to Jenner Park.

Departing Barry is forward Keira Harris, who makes the move to the FA Women’s National League with Luton Town. Ellie Preece, who departed Barry earlier on in the summer, has joined Bristol Rovers,

Aberystwyth Town continue to build for the future, with the signings of youngsters Poppy Jones, Ffion Davies-Williams and Carys Davies-Williams from Llanidloes Town, and full back Mali Yim-Jones from Llanilar.

No further signings as of yet at Briton Ferry Llansawel, but there has been a significant youth promotion, with the news that Cymru youth international Maizie Stiens is set to make her senior breakthrough in the Genero Adran Premier.

Called up to Cymru U17s at the age of 14, Stiens scored twice as Briton Ferry won the Bute Energy U16s Cup at Park Avenue last season.

Ferry came from two goals down to lift the Bute Energy U16s Cup

Departing Ferry is versatile forward Grace Evans, who has signed for Afan United of the SWWGL, currently managed by former Ferry boss Rhys Thomas.

Outgoings at Wrexham have seen U19 stars Izzy Barnett, Bella Riley and Tillie Ashworth all depart ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, whilst Leah Burke also has a new club.

Barnett and Burke have joined Shrewsbury Town, whilst former Wrexham winger Neve Adams also has a new club, joining Tranmere Rovers.

Molly France is back in the Genero Adran Leagues, joining The New Saints. The former Connah’s Quay Nomads goalkeeper won the Golden Glove in 2024/25 whilst at The Nomads, and after spells with Wirral Phoenix and Poulton Victoria, returns to the Welsh football pyramid.

Connah’s Quay Nomads have been back in the market, and have added to their goalkeeping ranks. 24-year-old goalkeeper Faye Moseley has made the move to North Wales.

A regular for The Latics in winning back-to-back league titles, Moseley also had a spell at Bury, and now writes a new chapter in the Genero Adran North.

Wrexham midfielder Tillie Ashworth strengthens Connah’s Quay’s midfield, as the highly-rated youngster joins back up with former Wrexham coach Andy Griffiths.

Staying on the theme of Wrexham, former U19s full back Maizie Johnson has completed a move to Wrexham Foresters, continuing a busy summer for the newly promoted tier two side.

Cascade YC have signed three players that competed in the Genero Adran Premier last season, the first of which saw Cardiff City duo Lisa Owen and Ceryn Chamberlain join the club.

Chamberlain spent 11 years with the Bluebirds and played a starring role in their Bute Energy Welsh Cup final penalty shootout victory

Treble winners in the capital in recent years, the duo add title winning experience to a Cascade side looking to push for a return to the top flight.

Also joining Cascade is Pontypridd United full back Faye Marshall, who was a regular in the Genero Adran Premier last season for The Dragons. Marshall has previously represented The New Saints in the top flight, and has also played for Berriew in Powys.

Pure Swansea have completed more marquee signings, as Chris Church continues to build ahead of September.

Rianne Jones also makes the move to Pure Swansea, after a clinical season across a number of different competitions for Taffs Well.

Jones scored eight goals in ten games in the Genero Adran South last season.

The Wellwomen have made their first signing of the summer following the appointment of Craig Bowles as their new manager, with the former Aberystwyth Town, Swansea City and Pure Swansea coach replacing Chris Hooper.
