Genero Adran Premier leaders Cardiff City produced a first half blitz to secure a 3-0 victory over rivals Swansea City at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The Bluebirds made a flying start to the contest, leading after just three minutes as Mackenzie Olden provided a simple finish from close range after Mikayla Cook’s effort had been saved.
Cook was involved once again as she earned the hosts a penalty in the 26th minute after being brought down in the box by Maddy Murray. Laura Curnock stepped up and made no mistake from the spot, sending Amelia Forkings the wrong way.
Cook’s reward for an impressive first half performance was a goal of her own in the 33rd minute as she met Olden’s cross with a powerful first-time finish into the top corner. Cardiff saw out their clean sheet in the second half to secure a third consecutive win.

Barry Town United claimed their first win of the season as they triumphed 3-2 away at Aberystwyth Town.
Ellie Preece scored twice in the opening 23 minutes at Park Avenue to put Barry seemingly in control of the game, but Aberystwyth were level inside the first 10 minutes of the second half following Ellie Gunney’s own goal and Sian Evans’ header from Carys Bufton’s free-kick.
However, substitute Keira Harris found a winning goal for Barry with just nine minutes left on the clock as she brought down Sienna Stone’s long ball and fired past Sophie Steele.
Wrexham returned to winning ways with an emphatic 6-1 victory against Pontypridd United at The Globe.
Jenny Sugarman’s side were ahead after just 11 minutes when Ponty defender Faye Marshall turned the ball into her own net from Hannah Snape’s corner, but the visitors levelled 10 minutes later through another own goal as a clearance from Wrexham goalkeeper Liz Craven cannoned off defender Josie Smith into the net.

Wrexham were back in front only two minutes later when Abbie Iddenden fired home from close range after Ponty again failed to deal with a Snape corner, before Katie Barker added her name to the scoresheet on the stroke half-time by rounding Alysha Hawkins and tapping into an empty net.
There was no let up from the hosts after the break as Mariam Mahmood found the net with a strike from distance on 49 minutes, before Iddenden grabbed her second goal of the afternoon four minutes later with a superb lob over Hawkins.
Mahmood completed a brace of her own in stoppage time with another stunning effort from the edge of the box, as a big win for Wrexham lifted them up to second in the table.
Briton Ferry Llansawel made it back-to-back wins by triumphing 3-1 over The New Saints at The Renewable Centre Stadium.
It was a frantic start to the contest as Ashley Griffiths headed in Megan Kearle’s corner to put Ferry ahead on 13 minutes, only for Caitlin Chapman to equalise for TNS with a close range finish seven minutes later.

Set-pieces again proved to be the Saints’ undoing though as Ferry restored their lead on the half hour mark when Lucy Powell’s corner caused chaos in the box and Maia Owen fired past Rebecca Elliott.
A third goal for the hosts arrived in the 70th minute when Jade Crofts played through substitute Grace Evans, who coolly finished for her first Ferry goal since joining in the summer.
