Alison Witts and Fleur Jenkins both scored twice as Genero Adran South champions Briton Ferry Llansawel defeated Pontardawe Town 4-2 in their penultimate league fixture of the campaign.
Witts continued to find her goalscoring touch by sending Ferry ahead in the eighth minute, but they were pegged back by Ponty captain Keira Harris’ stunning strike.
However, two clinical finishes from Jenkins either side of half-time put the champions into a comfortable position, and just ten minutes later, Witts made it four with a well-timed header.
Catryn Cook’s late goal for Ponty only turned out to be a consolation as Ferry produced yet another dominant performance.
Cwmbran Celtic extended their unbeaten league run to seven matches with a 4-0 win over Caldicot Town.
Captain Eloise Meaney broke the deadlock with a cool finish, and a late second half blitz followed as Cerys Shipley’s brace and a first ever league goal for teenager Alex-Marie Bond completed a ruthless display from Celtic, who confirmed a minimum of a third place finish.
Swansea University marked their first competitive match in over a month with a sublime 5-0 victory over Llanelli Town at the SU Sports Centre.
American youngster Kailey Walters scored her second ever goal for the Swans, which then opened the floodgates for the hosts in the second half.
Freya Davies, Elizabeth Ferrar, Charley Haynes and Jess Goucher were all on target as Dan Sheehan’s side produced a five-star performance to confirm fourth place.
