Cardiff City 7-0 Flint Town United

Five goals in the first half saw Cardiff City advance to the quarter-finals against Genero Adran North side Flint Town United. A brace from Fiona Barry helped the Bluebirds on their way, while Maddison Perrott, Lucy Malin and Helen Evans were also on the scoresheet. Emilia Ashun scored her first senior goal in the second half, which was followed by a second for Perrott in the capital.

Quarter-Finals

Wrexham AFC 2-2 Aberystwyth Town (5-4 penalties)

A goalless first half was followed by action-packed drama at The Rock, where Wrexham had to survive a scare against Aberystwyth Town. Rosie Hughes opened the scoring for the Red Dragons before a Lily Moralee-Hughes equaliser for the visitors. With ten minutes to go, Jodie Bartle put Wrexham back ahead, before a dramatic 97th-minute equaliser from Millie Gardner sent the game to penalties. After both teams scored their opening four spot-kicks, a miss from Imi Scourfield allowed Faye Knox to send Wrexham through to the semi-finals.

Swansea City 0-6 Cardiff City

The Bluebirds put six past Swansea City in an emphatic victory over their rivals and last season’s Genero Adran Trophy runners-up. Hannah Power, Kerry Walklett and Mackenzie Olden scored first half goals to put Iain Darbyshire’s side in control. An Eilish Mitchell own goal early in the second half was followed by a brace from Fiona Barry to secure Cardiff’s spot in the last four.

Semi-Finals

Wrexham AFC 6-0 Briton Ferry Llansawel

Faye Knox scored a hat-trick as Wrexham booked their spot in the Genero Adran Trophy Final for the first time with an emphatic win over Briton Ferry. However, only a single goal separated the two sides at the break after Knox scored the opener.

Wrexham ran riot in the second half, with Knox scoring her second inside the first ten minutes of the restart, before Jodie Bartle made it 3-0 just minutes later. Knox completed her hat-trick just after the hour mark, which was followed by a double for Rosie Hughes later in the half. However, Hughes received a late red card meaning that she will miss Sunday’s final.

The New Saints 0-3 Cardiff City

Madison Lloyd made the desired impact for Cardiff in her first start since returning from a spell at Pontypridd United, scoring twice as the Bluebirds defeated the Genero Adran Trophy holders.

Lloyd scored her first of the game inside the first 15 minutes, tapping home from a Ffion Price corner, before Mackenzie Olden made it two before the break to put Cardiff in control. Cardiff scored their third goal with just over 20 minutes to play as Olden played the ball through to Lloyd, who netted her second of the day as the visitors avenged their quarter-final exit to the Saints last season.
