Nathaniel Cars power Novira Cymru Premier trophy tour

Ahead of the 2026/27 Novira Cymru Premier season, the league’s iconic trophy has toured Wales to visit every top-flight club, powered by Nathaniel Cars.

Excitement continues to build around the new campaign, following the introduction of a new format and a new brand, creating a league that is visible, community-focused and proudly Welsh.

By taking the Novira Cymru Premier trophy – unmistakable with its two dragons either side of a bowl base – around the country, the tour has embodied these values.

Transported by a custom-wrapped MG S9 supplied by Nathaniel Cars, the FAW’s Official Vehicle Partner, that brought the brand to life, the trophy visited every Novira Cymru Premier stadium.

The tour also allowed the trophy to be pictured in some of Wales’ most iconic locations linked to Novira Cymru Premier clubs – including Caernarfon Castle, Barry Island and Bwlch Mountain – generating further interest around the league.

Jack Sharp, FAW Head of Domestic Leagues, said: “We know that the Novira Cymru Premier trophy often generates discussion thanks to its unique design, so it felt important to take it around Wales ahead of our most exciting season yet.

“With a mixture of long-standing clubs and new names never represented at this level before, the opportunity to visit stadiums and landmarks has been a key engagement activity and allowed us to capture brilliant imagery to boost the league’s profile.

“I would like to thank Nathaniel Cars for being the Official Trophy Tour Partner. The trophy is unsurprisingly not easy to transport, but their support allowed us to connect with clubs and communities with ease.”

Wayne Griffiths, Founder and Managing Director at Nathaniel Cars, said: “We are delighted to have supported the Novira Cymru Premier Trophy Tour and help take such a recognisable trophy to clubs and towns across the country.

“Nathaniel Cars has a long-standing relationship with the FAW and we’re incredibly proud to continue supporting Welsh football at every level while strengthening community engagement.

“This season marks an exciting new chapter for the domestic game and we are pleased to continue playing a part in the journey.”
